An amateur bodybuilder and a powerlifter, a member of a professional extreme strength league team, we are talking about a man who has devoted himself to sports since childhood. This is Mikhail Sidorychev, whose biography is quite rich.
Childhood
This Russian hero was born on June 8, 1979 in Ivanovo. From early childhood, his parents sent him to a circus school, where the boy learned the basics of sports acrobatics. Some time later, he was transferred to the swimming section, and then to speed skating. From the age of eleven, the boy began to attend school in Greco-Roman wrestling. However, becoming a candidate master of sports in this form, he decided to try his hand at powerlifting.
For four years he visited the gym with enviable persistence, but for some reason could not achieve noticeable results. Everything changed when Mikhail Sidorychev met with the master of sports in powerlifting, Alexander Chichukhin. He, having felt great potential in the young athlete, agreed to train him. Soon, the young man felt progress. He managed to get the title of master in this sport. And at the age of twenty-four, while training with the honored coach Vachagan Karlenovich Aginyan, Mikhail Sidorychev became a multiple winner of both Russian and foreign powerlifting tournaments. A year later, he received the title of master of sports of international class.
Power extreme
Since 2003, many sports began to be popularized in our country. Extreme power was no exception. Mikhail Sidorychev, who from early childhood was accustomed to heavy exercises and physical exertion, decided to try his strength here too. This was a real test for him. He, who always dreamed of participating in such a sport, where there are no certain restrictions that cannot be crossed, went headlong into classes. He was attracted by the fact that in power extreme it is possible to set an unlimited number of records. True, this can be achieved as a result of very hard work. Mikhail, who worked hard on himself, immediately began to participate in all regional competitions in this sport.
Take off sports career
In 2004, already having numerous arsenals of regional tournaments in its arsenal, the young Russian athlete received an invitation to participate in the Russian championship from Vladimir Turchinsky himself, who was the president of the League for power extreme sports. Taking fifth place among the fourteen best athletes, Mikhail Sidorychev was accepted as a professional. At these league competitions, he met and made friends with Denis Tsyplenkov. According to the athlete, the coach always compared their biceps. Sidorychev was always the leader. Michael, whose height was 190 and 140, respectively, had a muscle a centimeter larger.
Temporary difficulties
For six long years, Mikhail Sidorychev, speaking for the Russian national team, repeatedly represented the country in foreign competitions. During this time he managed to set several world records. Many remember his famous thrust of the largest aircraft in the world, Ruslan.
However, after the unexpected death of Turchinsky, the Russian Professional Extreme Power League actually broke up. It ceased to exist, and many athletes, including Mikhail, remained overboard, not having the opportunity to do their favorite work. Sidorychev managed to get a fitness instructor in the Marcus Aurelius hall , which was once run by the famous Dynamite. But since the โIvanovo heroโ always strove to achieve success in sports, it was hard for him to train without any goal, just like that.
The transition to bodybuilding
According to the athlete himself, he cannot "stupidly swing". He always needs to have a goal to which he should strive. In one of his interviews, Mikhail Sidorychev lamented that when one and a half dozen years of performances in the professional ring are behind him, it is simply impossible to tear him from the sport. After much thought, Michael decided to try his hand in a completely different direction - bodybuilding. And although this thirty-one-year-old athlete was well versed in extreme power, he still did not know the intricacies of training and the manner of performance in this form. Therefore, he needed a personal trainer. And they became the multiple winner of Russian and world championships Lyudmila Tuboltseva. It was she who took up the formation of the body of this hero. Due to long trainings in power extreme sports, which suggested a large load on the torso, Sidorychev had extremely developed oblique muscles on his stomach, and this does not really decorate the bodybuilder.

Mikhail Sidorychev and Lyudmila Tuboltseva
Lyudmila, who soon became his wife, very thoroughly got down to business. And in April 2011, Mikhail made his first debut. At the Moscow championship in bodybuilding, he took second place, losing only to Alexei Tronov. In the same year, in May, Sidorychev won the European Championship in the heavyweight category. This was a great success: they immediately started talking about him.
The newly emerged bodybuilding champion began to be removed for magazine covers, he was invited to radio and television. In 2012, Mikhail and Lyudmila participated in the Arnold Classic Europe tournament, where they took fourth and third places, respectively.
Today, the couple, whose son is growing up, continues to train hard and prepare for performances at international competitions.
