Unfortunately, there are no scientific works devoted to this emperor. The last representative of the dragon-born emperors was Martin Septim. What is this emperor famous for?
A brief history of the dynasty
The beginning of the dynasty falls on the period of the Second era. In 854, Tiber Septim, the founder of the dynasty, the founder of the Empire, was born. He united all of Tamriel in 896 of the Second Era under his rule. The Septim Dynasty ruled the entire Third Era.

Although not everything went according to plan: the Amulet of Kings was rumored to be from an unknown prisoner, his cult failed to capture. Whether this fact is true is hard to say. Now the Order of the Blades is in decline, 2 centuries have passed since those events ... But something nevertheless prevented the Mythical Dawn from acting quickly and accurately. Moreover, no one knew that Uriel had an illegitimate son, Martin.
After the Dragon Lights went out, the gates of Oblivion opened throughout Tamriel, and then Merunes Dagon himself entered the mortal world.
The role of Martin Septim
Joffrey's Blade knew of the whereabouts of Martin, who was a priest in the city of Kvatch. When the future hero of Kvatch arrived on behalf of the blade in the city to tell the bastard who he really is, the city was already besieged by the daedra. One way or another, on that fateful day when the city was completely destroyed, Martin found out about his origin.
In order to prevent the final daedra invasion, it was necessary to light the Dragon lights, crowning the heir. Then there was a galaxy of events. The mythical dawn stole the Amulet of Kings. To get it, I had to make a lot of effort, only the hero of Kvatch could cope with it. Sorry, his name is lost ...
Here is just one fact that again haunts historians. Why do some sources, even if not so famous, mention its connection with daedric art? Since when do scientists pay attention to such conflicting facts? And is this a fact at all? How could a simple priest open a portal to one of Oblivion's plans? This is a very complex magic that requires special training.
Be that as it may, Martin Septim's contribution is invaluable. The moment the Dragon Lights were to be lit, Merunes Dagon invaded Tamriel. Then Martin broke the Amulet of Kings, turning into a huge dragon - the embodiment of Akatosh. In this form, he was able to stop Dagon, albeit at such a high price - at the cost of his life. But from now on, the border was closed forever.

As for the life of Uriel VII, his biography is reflected in the work of Rufus Hain. It’s easy to find out about Martin Septim’s feat in Skyrim (it’s not known how things are in other provinces). His biography is affected in Praxis Sarkorum's "Oblivion Crisis." Where else can you find out about Martin?
