Igor Shmakov is a Russian film and theater actor. He was born in 1985 (September 9) in Lipetsk. Comes from the family of Elena and Igor Shmakovs. In 2007, he was educated at the Higher Theater School of B.V. Schukin.

Igor was treated in a famous clinic in Germany. In February 2011, it was possible to find a donor 100% compatible with its cells. Bone marrow transplantation was performed in the spring. The operation was successful, but after a while a second relapse occurred. A difficult situation for doctors and the family came when it was necessary to make a decision on further actions.

In oncohematology, this rarely happens, the chances of recovery in this position are significantly reduced. Igor decided to re-transplant from another donor. He could not undergo the operation. The actor passed away in Munich. This happened on October 6, 2011. Igor was buried in Moscow at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
