In 1982, a film about the era of Peter the Great was released on the screens of the Soviet Union. The actors played excellently. “Young Russia” is a historical tape that returns us at a time when there were many changes in the state that not everyone agreed with.
The beginning of glorious deeds ...
With great difficulty, the construction of a new Russia is progressing. The young Tsar Peter the Great makes a lot of efforts to make everything work out. In the Russian North, there is a process of cutting through the notorious window to Europe. People living here are full of dangers and adventures. Many strong and courageous people make feats for the glory of their Fatherland. It was then, at the turn of the eighteenth century, that the formation of the Russian navy took place.
1689 year. Tsar Peter the Great was only 17 years old. Passion for shipbuilding burst into his life. Now he is building ships and shipyards. All this happens near Pereslavl-Zalessky. Assistance to the young king is provided by talented shipbuilding engineers who arrived here from Holland. He tries to learn from them everything that they know how. But often he is told about no less talented Russian masters who live in Arkhangelsk, near the White Sea.
Royal footprint
Peter the Great left a significant mark in the history of the development of the Russian state. And it so happened that his successes, which he tried so hard to obtain, did not bring much understanding and reverence to representatives of other states. But the king did not take this to heart and confidently walked towards the goal set by himself. So the actors tried to play. "Young Russia" tells of a very difficult and difficult historical period. At that very difficult time, the fate of ordinary people was closely intertwined with the fate of the state.

Very dissimilar to others, similar in theme, the picture "Young Russia." The film carefully described the long time when the construction of a new Russia took place. This was a very important period in the life of the state. It was difficult enough to “open” a window to Europe, because the old North was always serious enough as a companion and rival. He often presented people with unexpected surprises. And not always pleasant. It was a time of strong and courageous people and their exploits for the benefit of their state.
The formation of the Russian fleet
The real picture is shown on television screens, which in great detail, step by step, talked about how the formation of the fleet took place on the territory of Russia. This task was not an easy one. There were many obstacles. All this happened at the turn of the eighteenth century. The very young tsar at that time had to face a large number of life troubles and difficult situations, which were due to the burden of his power.
And the beginning was laid by the lake. Just there, in a beautiful area, the Russian monarch came up with the idea to learn the basics of shipbuilding. Yes, the time was very difficult. Not every ruler would cope with all difficulties. But Peter the Great, as a competent head of state, was able to bring him (the state) to many important steps for history.
Story line
All events of the picture take place in the era of Peter the Great in the Russian North. The plot is based on the fate of three people. This is Captain-Commander Sylvester Ievlev (Stepan Starchikov), lieutenant of the customs army Afanasy Krykov (Alexander Fatyushin) and feedman-pomor Ivan Ryabov (Boris Nevzorov). It is on them that all the events of the nine-series tape are held.
All this was perfectly played by the actors. "Young Russia" - a film, of course, historical, showing the full strength of the spirit of Russian people. Each artist who came to the set made every effort to make this picture memorable for a long time. It doesn’t matter if he had a main role or a minor one. We are talking about Nikolai Olalyan (the role of Molchan Pashka), Evdokia Alekseeva (the role of Evdoha), Sergey Parshin, who played Menshikov, Leonid Kharitonov (the role of Longinov), Alexei Mironov (the role of Semisadov) and many others. And Konstantin Severny and Fedor Valikov were so reincarnated in their characters - Grandfather Mokiy and Grandfather Fedor - that the actors could not be separated from the old men they played.
By the way, it is impossible not to mention that Ivan Ryabov and Sylvester Ievlev were real historical characters.
Sensations from what you saw
The most important thing that can be seen in the picture is that people who have made efforts to create it relate to the cultural material with trepidation and love. The charm of the Russian North, the ear-relaxing language, beautiful songs. Amazing plot and - as much as possible - believable props. The actors did not lag behind in their skills. "Young Russia" gathered a magnificent acting ensemble under its canopy.
In the picture, all the characters are very neatly spelled out - both secondary and basic. Tsar Peter turned out exactly as he should be - active, purposeful, in places - cruel. Artist Dmitry Zolotukhin showed him very real and human. The character of the boyars was written out by the author quite accurately.
It is impossible to even guess that Afanasy Petrovich Krykov (actor Alexander Fatyushin, who was quite young in those years, but is already well known to the mass audience) will be killed, and Sylvester Petrovich Mekhonoshin will be sent to the prison governor by order of the governor. It is good that Tsar Peter did not believe the malicious slander. Indeed, a wise, real emperor transformer. And thanks to Dmitry Zolotukhin and Alexander Fatyushin, who carefully and carefully created their on-screen heroes, the overall mood of the picture turned out: beauty and young excitement reign here. Taisya Ryabova, the character of Alexandra Yakovleva, was striking in beauty and soulfulness. The eyes of Ivan Lapikov, who played in the film of Archbishop Athanasius, shone with wisdom and understanding.
You can, of course, criticize the sovereign, but spit in the history of Russia - an occupation not worthy of a wise and cultured person. The tsar can be criticized a little for domestic politics, but in the external he did everything in his power. Peter the Great worked for the interests of Russia, because he was a true patriot of his country.
