Cara Buono is an American actress, screenwriter, director and producer. She began to engage in acting at the age of eleven, since then she has taken part in seventy films and series. She is best known for her work in the series drama Mad Men and Very Strange Things.
Childhood and career start
Cara Buono was born March 1, 1974 in the Bronx area of New York. She grew up in a family of workers with two brothers and a sister. From early childhood, she firmly decided to start a career as an actress; at eleven, on her own, without the help of adults, she passed a casting in one of the Broadway productions.
Along with working in the theater, the young actress began acting in television projects.
