Fishing for bream on a feeder is a very special way of fishing. Feeder is called a special fishing rod, very similar to the well-known donka, but somewhat modernized. Its main advantage is efficiency and relative simplicity - fishing for bream on a feeder is available even to those who do not have fishing experience.
Good bream fishing on the feeder for its all-weather season - this type of fishing is available from the moment the ice leaves the reservoir, and until it freezes. A bream is one of the few fish that begin to eat actively immediately after ice melts. Another thing is that in early spring the bream lives in the thickets, where the probability of a hook is highest, but the more interesting is fishing, the more joy each caught fish brings!
Of course, the main guarantee of successful fishing is the correct tackle. The most suitable length of the feeder rod is 3 meters, a reel is needed at least three thousandth, powerful and strong, roomy. The optimum length of the fishing line is 100-150 meters, the diameter is 0.3 mm. These gears are the most important, everything else is secondary.
Equipment for feeder fishing, there is a great many. The choice of sliding or blind equipment completely depends on the fishing conditions, but it is very advisable to supplement conventional sinkers with leashes with gear with a feeder.
The choice of feeders should be approached responsibly, because it depends on the feeder whether the bream fishing on the feeder will be successful. There are three types of feeders in total.
The first type - a feeder with a straw - is the most popular among inexperienced anglers, since the feeder is attached not to the fishing line, but to a special pipe, which prevents tangles and overflows during fishing.
The second type - a βdeafβ feeding trough - is used by experienced anglers, it provides a spring for loading, leashes with hooks are attached directly to the feeding trough, due to which the fish grabs a hook with bait along with top dressing, and lead loading provides cutting.
The third type - the nipple feeder - is used mainly on lakes. It is a frame in the form of a spring, from which the fish is forced to suck out the bait. When filling this feeding trough with bait, hooks on leashes are inside the feeding trough and are sucked in by the fish along with food.
In order for the bream fishing on the feeder to be successful, you need to choose the right bait. In spring, fishing for bream requires a choice of bait with anise or vanilla aroma, and the smell of a worm with a bloodworm is also good. The preferred bait color is red, yellow or green.
In summer, color preferences remain the same, but the smell of bait should change: the smell of sunflower, corn or fruit will be the best.
Another thing is fishing for bream in the fall and winter. At this time of year, black and red baits with the smell of pineapple, black or red pepper are better.
And, of course, one simple rule should be observed: the more you feed a bream, then catch it. That is, if maggot is planted on the hook, it is advisable to add it to the lure (scald before it so as not to spread over the course), and if lure is constantly produced by corn, then the bream will peck well at the corn kernel.
Preparation of top dressing is also important: it should be soaked with water for a long time - ten hours before - before going to a pond - so all its components mix well and get the most strong odor.
Now about choosing a place for feeding. Since the bream lives at great depths, and feeds where it is smaller, fishing for bream on a feeder will be successful if the bait is thrown slightly upstream from the pit where this fish can be found. Then the course will drive the smell of food to the fish, and it will come to feed. And already lured fish will be perfectly caught for bait - of course, if the latter corresponds to complementary foods.
