The main state exam (OGE) is mandatory for all students who graduate from grade 9. The exam is not only an objective test of knowledge, but also a lot of stress for students. OGE - goals and objectives
The obligatory state exam is an analogue of the exam in the 11th grade. It can be considered as preparation for a more serious test - admission to the university. For 9th graders, OGE also seems to be a huge problem. The fact is that all students graduating from grade 9 must take this test, regardless of whether they leave secondary school or remain in it further.
OGE is also one of the components of GIA. The student can choose to stay only on compulsory subjects or test their knowledge in additional disciplines. Be that as it may, the list of subjects in the OGE has long been distributed:
- Russian language;
- mathematics.
A student can choose two more disciplines for himself. Rumor has it that the Ministry of Education is about to introduce another mandatory exam - the fifth in a row. Each year, the rules for conducting state exams are tightened. This also affected the tests in 2017: grades for compulsory subjects began to be summed up with the results of the exam, certification in the fourth grade was introduced. Will this system improve the real knowledge of students, time will tell. In the meantime, you need to turn to the interpretation of the points obtained for the main state exam.
What is a scatter?
The scoring of the OGE is the translation of exam results into a point system. Having received a certain number of points for each task, the student in his mind can figure out what his preliminary result is. The translation table is updated every year, therefore, students who pass the exam, in no case should be guided by the indicators of previous years. As for grades for exams, they were officially canceled back in 2008.
But schoolchildren and teachers still out of habit translate test results into a five-point system. In most subjects, the "five" start at 33 points. Which document determines the number of points received for each task of the OGE? This information is taken from the order of Rosobrnadzor, which is issued by the Ministry of Education every year. The green area in the scoring table indicates that the student is well prepared for the exam. If the total number of points for the subject is marked in green, this means that the student comprehensively and systematically studied the subject and fully understands it.
The yellow area indicates medium preparation. As a rule, this is a satisfactory result for the majority of schoolchildren who pass OGE. And finally, the red zone indicates that the student did not pass the exam and his knowledge of the subject is unsatisfactory.

The scam of the OGE-2018 scares many students and their parents. Many begin to prepare for this exam in a year, or even two. After all, everyone wants to get the highest possible grades for the test. What changes will bring 2018 to students:
- Increasing the number of exams: many parents want to abolish the mandatory state exam altogether, but so far its rules have only been tightened. Since 2016, not two, but already four exams have become mandatory for students. FIPI experts explain this innovation by the fact that in this way students will be more “savvy” in different fields of knowledge, and not just in mathematics and Russian.
- In 2018, it is planned to introduce the fifth compulsory subject. This innovation is designed to significantly affect student performance and success.
- The mark that the student will receive for the required exam will be taken into account in the certificate.
- Documents on completion of secondary education will be issued only to those who have passed at least four out of five subjects. This measure is designed to increase motivation and, as a result, the level of student achievement. Whether it will be effective - time will tell.
Math math
Mathematics is one of the most important compulsory subjects in grade 9, and one of the most difficult. Only the most intelligent and educated students can score the maximum number of points in this discipline. The scoring of the OGE 2018 in mathematics makes it possible to get the maximum number of points - 32.
For a module with algebraic tasks, a student can score 12 points, for geometric tests - 11 points, and for the module "Real Mathematics" - 7 points. The last part of the work contains the most non-standard and interesting tasks, which will not be easy to solve.
The minimum result of work, which will make it possible to consider the exam passed, is 8 points. Collecting this amount is not difficult, especially if you carefully prepared for the test. The scoring of OGE in mathematics allows you to know your result in advance long before the official announcement of the grades. Any result that is above 22 points will be counted as “excellent” for the item. Having collected such a quantity, you can no longer worry about what will be in the certificate - definitely, only a good mark.
Russian scribble
The exam in the most “great and powerful” language assumes a maximum of 39 points for all the tasks that have been solved. The scoring of the OGE in Russian is as follows:
- 34-39 points - guarantees excellent marks.
- 25-30 points claim to be a solid "four".
But there are some nuances in the Unified State Examination in Russian. To get the mark "4", the student must receive at least four points for literacy. If there are fewer points, then the “3” mark is set. For an excellent grade, a student must score at least six points for literacy.
Translation of points in social studies
The scattering of the OGE in social science is carried out in approximately the same way as in the previous subjects:
- The maximum number of points is also 39. Fives start at 34 points and above.
- For the Quartet, you will need to score from 25 to 33 points.
- "Three" will receive those who received a result of 15-24 points.
- An exam is considered failed if the student scored less than 25 points. If the student is going to enter a secondary special institution, then the minimum mark will be 30 points.
Compared to mathematics, the Unified State Examination for Social Studies 2018 is much stricter. And there are explanations for this, this subject is rarely chosen by those who are going to just go to grade 10. And for specialized institutions, the level of knowledge should be quite high.
Unified State Examination in Biology
In the Biology exam, a student can score a maximum of 46 points. 37 of them will be needed for the "five", and if you do not strive for excellent results, then 26-36 points will be enough for you, which will give a rating of "4". If you score less than 25 points, it will be considered a "troika". Well, in order not to pass the discipline at all, you need to score less than 13 points (or less than the minimum of 33 points for training in a profile class).
Chemistry scribble
The scattering of OGE in chemistry shows that the maximum possible number of points is 34.
- The Five starts at 27 points.
- "Four" - from 18 to 26.
- "Three" - from 9 to 17.
- The exam is considered failed if the student scored less than 9 points.
OGE appeal
If the student does not agree with the results set or is not satisfied with the exam, then he can always appeal. Satisfying his request or not will depend on how fair his requirements are. There are situations during which the student is distracted by what is happening around and as a result, incorrectly solves the tasks received.
Such moments may serve as a reason for filing such an application. It is important to file it within two days after passing the exam, otherwise the appeal will simply not be accepted. Based on the results of consideration of the application, the number of points can be recounted, both in a larger and a smaller direction. The examination paper itself will be double-checked.

Teachers who have seen a lot of students who have passed state exams in their experience say in a voice that the main thing in preparing for the CSE is the psychological comfort of the student. Naturally, the exam is very stressful, as a result of which many students literally lose their ability to think sensibly. Nevertheless, composure and common sense will be of paramount importance in solving problems. Therefore, experts recommend practicing yoga, breathing practices, but at the same time refuse to take medications that depress the nervous system.
The second important point of preparation is, in fact, the preparation for the exam itself. Classes with tutors, attending additional courses a year before the OGE will help even the most “missing” child pass exams for minimum grades.

Mandatory state exams are a difficult test for students and their parents. A little simplification of the situation can be made by the unified state examination, which allows you to clearly understand what grade the child received. Although it does not fit into the certificate, it still indirectly influences it and serves as an important proof of the student’s knowledge.
