Producer
The longest-running project, in which Roman Fokin acted as a director on a par with other domestic directors, is the criminal detective series Lawyer (2004-2012). The story is famously twisted around the personality of the lawyer Alexei Zimin, who, despite the vicissitudes of his work, did not harden his heart, did not become an inveterate cynic, therefore he takes a direct part in the case and the further fate of each of his clients. The episodes of the series, directed by Fokin, are diverse: from serious dramatic to farcical thriller. Separate series are presented by almost non-standard comedy, which makes fun of character types, as well as the imperfection of the judicial system as a whole. Among others, the series that were shot by Roman Fokin, a director with experience in the game at KVN, stand out noticeably.

Then, together with Karen Zakharov and Oleg Smolnikov, Fokin began production of the comedy television movie “Brothers in Different Ways”. The protagonists of the series were a native of Moscow Andrei Ruzhentsev and a distant relative from the village Ivan Zyamzyulin who came to him. The basis of the sitcom is various events taking place with young people, based on the difference between the rural and metropolitan perceptions of life and the characteristics of the national mentality of heroes.
