Today, Nikolai Dobrynin, an artist, is associated among millions of viewers with a folk character - a village peasant Mitya Bukhankin from the village of Kuchugury, who plays a special integrative function in the popular family series.
The humor oozing from it recreates the unity of the surrounding world, broken by modern civilization. The audience does not even have questions about how old Nikolai Dobrynin is, because the image he found, like Schukar, the creative find of Sholokhov, is eternal.
Mitya’s naive ego, his desire to be in the center of attention does not coincide with the real social status. With the appearance of a connoisseur, he generously gives out “advice out of place” to those around him, shares his “memories” with his interlocutors no worse than Munchhausen, and loudly tells others about his views on life. But for some reason, just such stories from his mouth are remembered, obtained significant, gain weight. Needless to say, the Honored Artist of Russia organically entered this image. In this article, we set a difficult goal for ourselves - to trace the milestones of the biography of Nikolai Dobrynin.
Childhood
Did he think in his childhood that he would become a movie actor? Did parents suggest such a path for their second son? Unlikely. Nikolai Dobrynin was born in Taganrog on 08/17/1963. Mom worked in trade, and her father was an investigator. Kolya's father was a gypsy by nationality. My dad's grandmother lived in a real gypsy camp. From childhood to school, Kolya lived with his grandmother, was free as the wind, and played with children. It was a real gypsy freemen.
Dad played the accordion well and gave his son to study piano at the music school. The boy was proud of him, his “cool” and necessary work. He was really strict, but fair. If really the misconduct of this or that son deserved a “belt”, then so it happened. Especially when the brothers got into a militia fight (then the fights “district to district” were popular among the guys). Father was an investigator known in Taganrog.
Death of father. Aborted childhood
Dad died suddenly and paradoxically: he simply crossed the road at the transition, moreover, to the green light. He was hit by an ambulance. From childhood, Nikolai Dobrynin was forced to earn money. His working biography began with grade 6: he sewed potato bags (this gypsy grandmother taught him this simple science), he put together mailboxes, and worked as a loader. The early departure of his father affected Nicholas. He did not graduate from music school: having reached the last class, he had a conflict with the director.
When the sixth grader Kolya stood on the scales, they showed a weight of 87 kilograms. It was grade III obesity. He was terribly shy and complexed. He was oppressed by the nickname given by his classmates, "Package." And when in the summer in the pioneer camp I had to swim, he entered the water in a shirt, shy of his chest, to put it mildly, of non-Hellenic proportions.
Help brother
Nikolai Dobrynin is still grateful to his elder brother Alexander, who took full responsibility for his father's responsibility for the upbringing.
By the way, Alexander Nikolayevich Naumenko (they have different fathers with Nikolai) also "from God" got outstanding creative potential and tremendous performance, thanks to which he became a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater. Svyatoslav Richter became his godfather.
Alexander brought Nikolai to the school of ballroom dancing and strictly monitored his sports. To make weight reduction faster, he built for Nicholas a "running" belt with lead inserts. The “belt” weighed twenty kilograms, but for Kolya it seemed even harder when he had to run down and up along Petrovskaya Street.
Nikolay Nikolaevich Dobrynin tells ironically about his ballroom dancing classes. With the "Package" the girls did not want to dance, and his first partner was a guy, long and in youthful acne. Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, as they were called, were a brand of the ballroom school. But later, when twenty kilograms “left”, the girl “found herself.”
Moscow, admission to the university
Alexander, a first-year student at the conservatory, took his brother to his place in Moscow. He, as a maximalist, agreed, because the young man was left by a ballroom dancing partner (thanks to her from all over the country). If it weren’t for this decision - to go to Moscow - Kolya, like half of his classmates, would most likely go to a nautical school.
But it happened differently: he entered GITIS (workshop of L. Knyazeva, I. Sudakova), however, from the third attempt. In one stream, Nikolai studied with Vladimir Vinogradov and Dmitry Pevtsov.
The most unsuccessful was the first attempt at admission. As soon as a young man with a terrible accent and a characteristic letter "G" pronounced the commission that he was from Taganrog, in response he heard: "Goodbye."
First marriage
I didn’t sit idly by between the arrivals, I worked as a mechanic, a plumber, a metro builder. But when Dobrynin, already a "shot sparrow" among applicants, passed acting exams wherever he could, he was invited to study simultaneously at the Shchukin School, the Moscow Art Theater Theater Studio, Shchepkinsky School and GITIS. It was a kind of psychological revenge for all previous fiasco.
The real “energizer” was Nikolai Dobrynin. His biography is filled with paradoxes: he once argued with his classmate Ksenia Larina (the daughter of Andrei Barshev, a diplomat, later the creator of Radio Nostalgia), and they got married purely to the argument. What a precedent: the daughter of a diplomat marries a gypsy! To support his family, the student worked as a drainage machine in the subway. A talented person is talented in everything, the drainage worker Nikolai was assigned the 6th category by metrostroy, it was a virtuoso worker. However, student marriage lasted five years.
Theater "Satyricon"
GITIS was completed in 1985. As actor Nikolai Dobrynin recalls, the situation was again paradoxical: he was invited to seven theaters at once, he chose the Satyricon theater, he wanted to work with the gaining momentum Konstantin Raikin. The very spirit of this theater corresponded to the internal energy of the actor, and although Nikolai spent four years there in extras, he invariably positively recalls these years. In addition, there he happened to go on stage with a legend - Arkady Raikin (the play "Peace be to your house").
Like any lyceum, Nikolai Dobrynin longed not only for “his viewer”, but also for his millionth public. His filmography began in the New Year's (1986) melodrama "The Right People" (director Vladimir Alenikov), where he played the builder Kolya. The following year, he played the role of the thief Vitka, nicknamed Gavrosh, in the film directed by Pankratov. In 1989, the role of Leva - Katsapa (director Vladimir Alenikov) fell.
Second marriage
In 1988, actor Nikolai Dobrynin marries a second time. Anna Terekhova, the daughter of Milady Margarita Terekhova , became her chosen one.
The marriage was (unfortunately, was) truly out of love. The fact that Anna was seven years younger was simply not noticed, because Nikolai, as we already said, is an energizer. He dearly loved his wife. My son Michael was born. As Anna herself admits (what she regrets), the breakup occurred because of her (demand in the "Theater of the Moon"). Until the age of 16, Dobrynin took care of and raised his son Misha, while not meeting his ex-wife (he loved, his soul hurt). The son of Nikolai Dobrynin Misha did not follow in the footsteps of his parents, he chose the profession of a psychologist.
The actor is very respectful of his "stellar mother-in-law." He thinks she is super. A kind of litmus paper of the acting level of Margarita Terekhova for Dobrynin was the phrase dropped by Jane Fonda (who starred with her in the film "Blue Bird"): "Rita, I will never play like that!"
Army. Work with Roman Viktyuk
But back to the main chronology of the biography. The army was then “hoo” - the state in the state, it pulled into its fold both talented athletes and young artists. After five years of acting, he joined the Moscow Air Defense Ensemble and Nikolai Dobrynin. As a creative person, he was released on dismissal to play in the Satyricon. When he participated in one of the skits, he was "found" by Roman Grigoryevich Viktyuk. However, the army service of Nicholas also did not go like clockwork. The culprit was the unfortunate German Rust, who landed on Red Square. All dogs were let down for air defense, the air defense ensemble was then disbanded, and Nikolai was sent for a year to "serve" in the usual combat unit.
Viktyuk Theater
After demobilization in 1989, Dobrynin was lucky to touch the great. The “Satyricon” play of Viktyuk “The Handmaids”, where he played Claire, was honored to open a new era in the history of the World Theater. Critics have called The Handmaids an updated manifesto of theatricality.
Work with Roman Grigorievich captured Nikolai for 16 years. Creativity with a living legend - Viktyuk - is something special ("Master and Margarita", "Solomei" pulled out all the juices from the actor, demanded complete dedication). Nikolai Dobrynin can talk about this for hours. The filmography of the actor in the 90s was promoted on the principle of "rarely, but accurately." Interesting and intense work in the theater simply did not give the right to "random roles" in the cinema.
Cinematic Roles in the 90s
In 1993, he played the role of Misha Raevsky in the film “Russian Ragtime” by S. Ursulyak (the plot of the plot: fooling youth breaks the red flag). This is a truly dramatic role that led his hero to the choice: betray and substitute under the “punishing sword of the Soviet Law” or remain decent, but he would suffer himself. The actor’s game was recognized at the constellation-94 film festival as the best male role. The role of Kolya Dolgushin in the detective story “Kings of the Russian Investigation”, Gordanov in the drama “On the Knives”, Zhenya in the “White Dance” did not go unnoticed by the audience.
Roles of the actor in the 21st century
In 2004, the actor interrupted his collaboration with the Roman Viktyuk Theater. The latter was a necessary step. It is not given to a person to burn down to the stage on the stage in “The Master and Margarita”, “Solomei” and fully comply with the demand for cinema. He was delayed by work in the series “Life is a Hunting Field”, “Chess Player”, “Amapola”. There was a conversation with the director-master, where they decided: to take a break, for three years.

Objectively speaking, not everyone is given to play as many movie roles as they fell to Dobrynin. No wonder Roman Viktyuk called Nikolai "not two-core, but seven-core". Indeed, the satirikon credo, formulated by Konstantin Raikin, “Work until the aorta ruptured,” was deeply and organically accepted by Nikolai Dobrynin. The growth of his creative potential is obvious. The actor was ready for a stream of directorial proposals in connection with the renaissance of Russian cinema. For almost a decade, he plays 4-5 roles annually! Lives between St. Petersburg and Moscow. But in 2013 he played in 7 film works: “Caucasian Captive-2”, “Scouts”, “Stanitsa”, “Youth”, “Petr Leshchenko: all that was”, “New Year's Plague”.
However, the love of the theater does not leave him. Since 2007, he is again listed as a theater actor. But he plays for the soul: several roles in the Theater Center on Kolomenskaya (the performances Loved Maupassant and Pajamas for Six).
Third marriage
In 2002, Nikolai Dobrynin, 45, married for the third time. Personal life brought him to Ekaterina Komisarova. A fan of the actor then worked as a stewardess and attended all his performances. Once Katya got courage and went backstage to present flowers to her idol. Nikolai was then out of sorts and rejected the flowers, but then caught up with the offended girl.
In 2008, their daughter Nina was born. For 10 years, God did not give the Dobrynins a child. According to Nikolai himself, they prayed for a daughter together. There was a period in his work, when he conducted a program about Orthodoxy, about churches. Filming the program, he happened to visit the damask monastery of St. Thecla. In this temple, believers ask for the birth of children. After praying, mother handed Dobrynin a special monastery belt. Such belts are worn by women who want to have a baby, and take it off after pregnancy. Katya had a chance to wear a belt for only two months.
Now Catherine works as an assistant director for Roman Viktyuk. The couple made a family nest in St. Petersburg. Nikolai Dobrynin considers him to be related to his native Taganrog: both of these cities are the brainchild of Peter I. Both of them are sea cities. He likes the rhythm of the life of the City of Peter, and Peterhof, Pavlovsk, Pushkin Nikolai knows as if he were a native Leningrad.
However, for convenience, the Dobrynins also have an apartment in Moscow, where they work. Such is their rhythm of life and work: they travel together along the Moscow-Petersburg route.
Output
Finishing the article, I would like to return again to the hero of Dobrynin, especially loved by the audience. The impressive "track record" of the actor finally led him to an undeniable creative find. Millions of Russians enjoy the unique way that Nikolay Dobrynin presents the image of Mitya Bukhankin, an “adult child”, who is dear mainly for the way he is by himself.
Conceived by the director as a secondary image of Mitya, thanks to the personal charm of the actor, he came to the fore in the series “Matchmakers”. Nikolai Dobrynin, contrary to the logic of the script, “outplayed” the main actors, just as Broneva once outplayed Tikhonov. In fact, he created the brand with his role, prepared the potential for the following film works.
Formally, the Honored Artist of Russia (2002) actually became a national.
