Eric Close, an American drama actor, was born in New York, on Staten Island, on May 24, 1967, in the family of an orthopedic surgeon. He has two younger brothers, in whose society the childhood of the future actor passed. Due to the specifics of his father’s professional activities, the family constantly moved from place to place.
