Why is digestive hygiene so important ? For whom and for what is it important? For us, of course, and for our digestive organs. Recently I heard older men arguing β€œuntil they turn blue,” while figuring out which of them has more different sores. It is characteristic that when it came to pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract (gastrointestinal tract), all those present were even more animated.

It turned out that none of the arguing men took into account digestive problems at all. They unanimously admitted that "this is for everyone." I thought not at all. For example, in my family, including grandparents, this is all right. There were some unpleasant moments, but as they say: "This is a long time ago and not true."

This method improves the blood supply to the roots of the teeth, prevents bleeding of the gums.

Inadequate oral care leads to the multiplication of germs in the stuck food debris. Yellow spots form on the tooth surface, an unpleasant odor from the oral cavity appears. The mineral salts that saliva contains are deposited on the teeth, forming tartar. Microbes that multiply among teeth provoke gum inflammation and lead to dental diseases.

Also, hygiene of the digestive system, of course, includes cleanliness during meals:

  • cleanly washed hands;
  • washing vegetables, fruits, washing other foods;
  • heat treatment of food products;
  • cleanly washed dishes;
  • quality cooked food with a pleasant smell and taste;
  • attractive view.

In addition to keeping hands and products clean, digestive hygiene provides for the correct frequency of meals. Since mixed food is digested and located in the stomach for about four hours, it will eat properly every four hours. If this gap is shortened, then mixing new and previously taken food leads to bloating due to a violation of its normal functioning. If the interval between meals is increased, the glands of the empty stomach begin to secrete enzymes and hydrochloric acid. They cause inflammation of the mucous membrane. The result of such exposure can develop peptic ulcer, chronic gastritis.

  • The stomach should be filled with water. Water should be slightly warmer than the normal temperature of the human body.
