Evgeny Burenkov is a famous film and theater actor of the Soviet period. For his active creative activity in 1977, he received the title of Honored Artist of the Soviet Union. The outstanding actor devoted his whole life to the theater, where he played more than 80 roles, and to cinema, where he starred in more than 50 films of various genres: from military dramas to comedies. Evgeny Burenkov was born in early December 1924. The place of his birth was the small village of Maloe Polozovo, which is located in the Smolensk province.

Eugene Burenkov barely had time to finish school, when the Great Patriotic War began. And already in 1942 he was called to the front.
