The heroes of this series are loved by the viewer, and, as often happens, he calls the actors by the names of their characters. Everyone remembers Selin as Dukalis, they call Polovtsev Amanita, and Aleksey Nilov will probably forever remain Larin. It is possible that such associations do not always please artists, but such is the world of television heroes.

Behind each memorable screen image is a very real person with his own destiny. An artist who played a hard worker with golden hands can easily turn out to be complete stupid, even the notorious nail that has never been hammered in his life. A brave hero with a square jaw and massive fists in life often turns out to be an absolutely harmless uncle who will not touch a fly without need. Alexey Nilov never served in the police and did not even think about a law enforcement career, but fate ordered him to become one of the “typical representatives” of Russian detectives and operas. How did he come to such a life?
Famous dad and cousin
Gennady Nilov, dad Alexei, was also an actor. In the famous very sunny and bright film of the 60s “3 + 2” there was such a character, physicist Sundukov (and then it was a romantic profession, not like now). Alexey Nilov is a native Petersburger, he was born in North Palmyra in 1964, and he knew about the filming not only what those people who go to the cinema know. Dad took him to the playgrounds, and already at the age of five the boy played in the film "The Snow Maiden" directed by Pavel Petrovich Kadochnikov. Apparently, an experienced actor tried to convey the idea to his son that this profession is difficult and not very grateful. The effect, however, came out different, just the opposite.
Admission to LGITMIK and the army
After school, Alexei Nilov chose the right thing, deciding to become an engineer in light industry, even went to preparatory courses. But the theater was still more desirable, and my mother, who solved almost everything, was allowed to go to LGITMIK (this intricate abbreviation stands for Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema).
Everyone is good at this university, but it also had a significant drawback, namely the lack of a military department, so the young student had to serve in the army. Leaving the ranks of the armed forces of the USSR, Alexey Nilov left a “deeply pregnant” beautiful wife at home. A month later, when the “Salabon” haircut had not yet grown, the soldier became the dad of Elizabeth’s daughter. He did not see her soon, he was not given leave for a long time. In 1986, the service was coming to an end, but there was an accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and the military unit from Chernigov was transferred to Chernobyl.
Fortunately, the biography of Alexei Nilov as a liquidator was short-lived, and this did not significantly affect his health.
Studio-87 Theater and Minsk Drama Theater
The theater beckoned even after demobilization. The young actor found a place in the troupe "Theater-Studio-87" in his native Leningrad. The work was interesting, but paid poorly. The actor worked at construction sites, and after the shift, it happened, and drank to relieve fatigue. Anna, the wife of Nilov, reacted extremely negatively to this habit. It was increasingly difficult to restrain Alexei, and the couple broke up. According to his wife, the artist did not accept further participation in the upbringing of his daughter.
Three years spent in Minsk, seriously enriched the creative experience of the actor. Drama Theater Gorky, where he had the opportunity to work, was strong both in the troupe and in the repertoire. 90s cinema
Everything would have been wonderful, but in 1991 a fateful event happened. At Lenfilm, the film "Tagged" was launched, and Nilov was invited to the main role. The actor did not want to give up such a chance and went to St. Petersburg. Susanna stayed in Minsk, not wanting to quit her favorite job.
Plots of films of the early 90s are plain. Corruption, an honest cop, a conflict with superiors and the fight against the mafia - that's all, actually.
Meanwhile, life in Russia became increasingly difficult. The theater halls were empty, stupid comedies and action films were shot, the actors were unemployed and, at best, were glad to any roles, not deciphering, a movie or another “dummy” is good. Alexey Nilov became an advertising agent. He went to enterprises and offered to pay for the print space of one of the Leningrad publishing houses. Filming, in which he managed to take part, did not give creative satisfaction, but you probably had to go through it.
Then a fleeting romance arose, ending with a wedding. Julia Mikhailova, whom Nilov met on the set of the film “The Curse of Duran,” seemed to him “the second half,” but it soon became clear that it was a mistake.
"Cops" and "Foundry"
Then there were the “Streets of Broken Lights”, thanks to which the whole country found out who Alexey Nilov was. Films in which he starred in the first four years of the XXI century, not so glorified his name as the famous "Cops". The first series became very successful, but mass production sets a certain matrix, and the larger the issue number, the lower the quality, as well as the popularity of the picture.
In 2004, a bold attempt was made to “rebrand”. According to the concept of the new series, the characters appear on the screen under the names of the actors playing them, and Larin is now working in counterintelligence. The revolution in the cinema "Liteiny, 4" did not produce.
Biography of Alexei Nilov is rich in events. He had three official marriages, two civil marriages, and according to his own calculations, another 28 were those that could not be ranked among the first or second. In March 2000, the actor nearly died due to acute alcohol intoxication.
