Thirty years have passed since Ash first encountered the Kandaria demon and his army of darkness. Once in a bar he meets a girl, and then invites her to his place. At the height of the party, they take out the Necronomicon and read out the lines that again awaken the once sealed evil.
The next morning, Ash begins to notice strange things. It seems to him that everyone around is obsessed with deadweight. Take for example his neighbor, who suddenly spoke in a demonic voice. Realizing what’s the matter, Ash is going to leave the city to meet with one book specialist. Only at first he needs to get a calculation.
The boss asks to work the day, but Ash can’t stay, so along with his colleagues - Pablo and Kelly, he returns to the trailer to pick up the book. There, they are attacked by a gardener-obsessed gardener and a neighbor. Having dealt with the demons, the trinity understands what they had to face, so they pick up the book and leave the city. And in their wake are the mysterious stranger Ruby and the FBI agent Amanda Fisher, who accuses Ashe of the death of his partner.
In general, the story is in the spirit of the well-known trilogy. But the success of the series also depends on well-chosen cast.
Ash Williams - Bruce Campbell
The role of Ash Williams in the series "Ash Against the Evil Dead" Bruce Campbell did an excellent job. As if there was not a long pause between the trilogy and the series. His hand is decorated with the same prosthesis in the form of a chainsaw, with which he also deftly repels the dead. Despite his age, Ash behaves like a child, constantly falling into unpleasant situations. And his frivolity often endangers both the people around him and the whole world. It is good that he has enough experience to fight what he has revived.
The protagonist of the series "Ash Against the Evil Dead" (Bruce Campbell) in the movies and on television is not a newbie. And even though he achieved great popularity thanks to the Evil Dead Dead franchise, Mr. Campbell can be found in other projects.
Sam Raimi liked working with this actor so much that he decided to continue to work with him. So, for example, Bruce appeared in a series of films about Spider-Man.
Ruby - Lucy Lawless
The appearance of a mysterious character named Ruby is one of the main mysteries of the series. It is clear that she really wants to meet with Ash, because in her pocket lies his sawn hand. It is not clear what exactly she needs. Unlike the previous character, Ruby takes responsibility with all responsibility. True, you won’t immediately say who she is or what powers she possesses. But she certainly possesses them.

Amanda Fisher - Jill Marie Jones

When she and her partner went to the call, they were attacked by Ash's girlfriend, obsessed with deadweight. As a result, the partner died, and Amanda vowed revenge on those who were involved in this. And since everything points to Ash, then she decided to start with him.

Therefore, he decides to go with Kelly, albeit not by his own will.
Almost all the actors who starred in the series "Ash Against the Evil Dead" already had experience in television. And Dan Delorenzo is also no exception. The actress can be found in the TV series "Lascivious California", "Two Broke Girls" and "Guide to Family Life."

It is worth recognizing that there are very few TV shows in the genre "black comedy, horror", so the creators took a big risk by launching this project. But the pilot series showed excellent results, and there was no doubt that the second season would be shot.
