Despite the fact that life is beautiful and amazing, the only thing guaranteed to a person during his lifetime is that he will die. However, no one can accurately predict the day of his death. Even a terminally ill patient who suffers unthinkable suffering cannot know when his last hour will come. This is known only to a desperate suicide, and even then not 100%. If his plan is not fully realized, a severe form of disability is possible. There is another option for deliberate departure from life - euthanasia. This is such a medical practice, according to which a terminally ill person, experiencing severe suffering, has the right to resort to the services of doctors in order to quickly move to another world.

Holy Scripture says that God does not send man great trials than he is able to survive. A miracle of healing can happen at any moment. Is a person entitled to manage his own life if he does not fully understand its meaning? And do the doctors who swore the Hippocratic oath have the right to prematurely kill? Euthanasia is a concept that is completely contrary to the principles of medicine. The great ancient Greek doctor and recognized father of medicine Hippocrates said that he would never provide anyone with a lethal remedy and would not show the way to it. In ancient Sparta, the sick and weak infants were thrown from a cliff. The Nazis also once practiced the theory of "unnecessary people", and where are they now?

Euthanasia is a procedure that has two types of exercise: passive and active. The meaning of the passive is that doctors, by agreement of the person or his immediate family, stop the therapy of maintaining the life of a hopelessly ill patient. The active method is to administer doomed medications that provide a painless and quick death. Today, euthanasia is a legal procedure. It is committed (subject to strict rules) in countries such as Australia, Belgium, Holland, USA (Washington and Oregon), Switzerland and Sweden. Proponents of this technique consider it humane and argue that the task of doctors is not to support the suffering of the patient, but to alleviate them.

The euthanasia of animals is a difficult and painful test for their owners. Pets, as a rule, live less than their owners. Therefore, people are fully responsible for their quality of life. Euthanasia of cats and dogs in Russia is a legal procedure. It is legally assigned to animals if their aggressive and uncontrollable behavior poses a threat to others. It can be caused by incurable diseases that cause the pet pain and suffering, as well as congenital pathologies and injuries incompatible with normal life. Euthanasia of animals is also prescribed in case of detection of infectious diseases dangerous to humans.

When the only way out of this situation is, as they say in some cases, βlife-giving euthanasiaβ, this procedure is carried out in two stages. First, anesthesia is performed by suppressing the activity of the central nervous system. This is usually done by injection of lithiopental and propofol substances. She begins to act within 1-2 minutes. After 10-15 minutes, when the depth of anesthesia suppresses all the main reflexes, they begin the second stage of euthanasia. An animal in a state of deep anesthesia is given a drug that helps to stop breathing. Over the next 3β25 minutes, this leads to cardiac arrest and death. The doctor should not leave the patient until he ascertains 100% onset of death. The owners should be philosophical about the fact of parting, because this is how the world works, and we did not invent it. The important thing is that the pet will forever remain in our memory.
