Threats and torture, kidnapping and extortion, murder and coercion - all this, Frank Castle used in the fight against the underworld, a global evil that he vowed to eradicate. In this seemingly noble deed, Superman succeeded. He was helped by the experience of a participant in the Vietnam War, knowledge of almost all types of military weapons, tactics of hidden counteraction and mastery of the art of martial arts.
The constant readiness to kill the antihero was reflected in the first episodes of the 1974 comics - in the collection The Amazing Spider-Man. Later, in the eighties, Frank Castle became a representative of the participants in useless wars, with broken fates who were looking for and could not find their place in the sun. Younger veterans went to criminal structures, elderly retirees were interrupted by anyone than they could.

Frank Castle, publication history about which originates in the seventies of the last century, for some people was an antihero who completely violates the law, and for others - a real deliverer. After all, the more Superman destroys the bandits, the cleaner it will be on earth. And everyone understood that.

Frank Castle: The Punisher Biography
Castiglione Francis was born in New York. A joyful event occurred in a family of Italian immigrants. Father and mother were from the island of Sicily. Frank Castle (photos are presented on the page) grew up and turned into a strong man, a brutal handsome man who did not cost anything with one hand to dump a bull on the ground. When the time came, the young man was drafted into the army, where he began as a simple infantryman. But thanks to his determination and zeal, he soon rose to the rank of captain. The wife Maria remained at home, who at that time already bore his heir under the heart.
In the army, Frank Castle went through the military school of a young fighter, then began to study the intricacies of reconnaissance and cartography. At the next stage, he was to master combat reconnaissance and sniper science. The final stage of military training for Castle was the course of the paratrooper demolition, at the end of which he became known as the "fur seal". Having received this honorary title, Frank met with Fan Bighawk, an experienced scout who taught him the art of survival in the wild. This science was useful to the Punisher when he declared war on the criminal community on all continents.
Asia
After completing a military training course, Frank Castle went as part of a special forces group to Vietnam to undergo further service. He fought valiantly on the plains and in the jungle, although he realized that it was impossible to win this war. The most radical measures used by the American command did not bring tangible results. The soldiers lost their morale in the swamps: a viscous quagmire took all forces.
After the Vietnamese attack on the Forge Valley military base, which occurred in the memorable fall of 1971, only Frank Castle was left alive. For heroism, he was awarded the Cross of the Navy, “Silver Star” and “Purple Heart”. Returning from Asia to the United States, Castle did not stay long in his native places. After some time, he returned to the jungle of Vietnam, where he stayed until the withdrawal of American troops in 1976. Frank later used his experience as an instructor in a sabotage camp located north of New York.
Tragedy
One fine day in 1976, a whole family - Frank Castle, his wife Maria, daughter Lisa and son Frank Jr. - went on a picnic in New York Central Park. At the same time, two gangster rival groups appeared in the park. The shooting started. Whether random bullets overtook the Castle family or aimed fire was fired on someone's orders, but all died. The seriously wounded Frank Castle survived - a many-year-old warrior training helped. An investigation was carried out into the death of his wife and children, a trial was held, but the killers were released for lack of evidence of their guilt. From that day, the Vietnam War veteran turned into a punisher, deciding to destroy the criminals on their own, bypassing the law.
Underworld War
The Italian and Russian mafia, Japanese criminals, South American drug cartels, street gangs of large cities, maniacs of all stripes, corrupt policemen - all of them suddenly felt the action of some unprecedented powerful force, destroying and destroying everything around. It took a long time before the criminal world realized that one person sows death and destruction around himself. The name of the avenger did not immediately become known. Everyone began to call him the Punisher. And that was the most accurate definition.
Ruthless, well-armed, he always attacked suddenly, killed his victim with one precise blow and never entered into conversation, he did everything silently. Mafia structures that were involved in drug trafficking were particularly affected. After the Punisher’s raid, hemp plantations burned, warehouses with drugs ready for shipment exploded. The damage and losses of the bandits amounted to millions of dollars.
Elusive
Sometimes the Punisher was able to track down and even attack him. But each time the skirmish ended in a mountain of corpses, and the avenger himself disappeared without a trace. Repeatedly, mafia bosses in different countries hired killers to destroy Castle, but each hired killer himself became a victim and received a bullet in the forehead. In the end, there were no more hunters to eliminate the Punisher.
The antihero often crossed paths with other fighters for justice, such as Spider-Man or Daredevil, and he was sometimes imprisoned on trumped-up charges. Competitors tried to remove from their path a powerful rival named Frank Castle. Daredevil, Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine stubbornly feuded with the Punisher. But sometimes one of them took his side.
Confrontation
That was when supervillains from the Marvel Universe began to annoy everyone. Then earthly superheroes had to stand against them on a united front. And Deadpool, Tagged, Bushwalker and Rivers retreated. There were times when Frank Castle wore a Spider-Man costume and acquired unprecedented strength and dexterity. Then he had no equal in the struggle among the skyscrapers.
If, however, the Punisher was sent to prison, then he did not have to sit in a cell for a long time. Among the prison authorities there were always sympathetic people who hated criminals as a class. Thus, the Punisher left the prison area with wishes for further success in eradicating evil. After leaving prison, Castle immediately went on a mission in accordance with his plan to destroy another criminal group. Everyone was struck by the mobility of the Punisher: today he was seen in Afghanistan, tomorrow he is already in Latin America. A day later, the destination is Russia, then Morocco. And there are murders everywhere, dozens of victims in every country. The punisher killed the wounded with a control shot.
Armament
The Punisher's arsenal includes the latest generation of assault rifles, powerful revolvers, heavy duty combat knives, explosives, and remote-controlled bombs. And all this is present in huge quantities. Castle is constantly upgrading all his weapons, improves optical sights, night vision devices, increases the range of grenade launchers, and personally makes explosive bullets that can smash a person to shreds.
Special Services Loyalty
At some point, police state structures realized that the Punisher was providing them invaluable assistance, destroying dozens and hundreds of criminals without trial. Some commissars even tried to provide him with tacit support for weapons and ammunition. However, the Punisher refused assistance, realizing that in this case he would already be fighting crime not alone. And this was not part of his plans.
Actors as the Punisher
The main performer of the character is John Berntal. It is followed by Dolph Lundgren in importance, then Thomas Jane, and finally Ray Stevenson. In addition to the series, several animated versions of the film were released. In Spider-Man, The Punisher speaks in the voice of John Beck.
