If you need to make a ladybug (application) with a child at home or in an organized group, study several possible options and choose the one that is suitable for the level of complexity and speed of manufacture. Children will be happy to craft this cute insect with their own hands at home or in the garden.
Simple application
If you are engaged in art with a small child and want to make a ladybug with him, it is better to collect the application according to the ready-made template. Work like this:
- Find a picture of a ladybug that can be used as a template.
- Print the image and cut it into separate elements or make patterns from cardboard.
- Circle each detail along the contour, laying on a sheet of colored paper of the corresponding shade.
- If your baby is still too small to draw on a stencil and cut blanks, follow the previous steps yourself, and instruct the child to stick elements on the sheet. Explain that you first need to take the torso and head, then the wings, and last but not least, small circles-spots.
Application ladybug (middle group)
For work, you need large sheets of green, which will be used as the basis (weed), black and red paper. The task is performed as follows:
- Cut two circles from black paper into a stencil: one for the body and one for the head.
- Make two circles of red leaf for wings.
- Cut out or use a hole punch to make a lot of black dots.
- Glue the circle of the body onto the base of colored paper, attach the part of the head on top with an overlap.
- Fold the red circles in half and stick both parts symmetrically on the body so that the effect of expanding wings is obtained.
- Stick black spots on the outside of the red semicircles.
The craft can be supplemented with the application of a leaf, flower, grass.
Volume application from paper "Ladybug"
For this craft, red paper will need a little more, since it is from it that a three-dimensional object will be formed. The sequence of execution is as follows:
- Cut two black circles for the torso and a smaller one for the head.
- Cut a few red circles. Fold each blank in half with the color side inward.
- Glue the red circles together in series.
- Glue the free half of the left part and the right to the torso blank.
- Cut a lot of small circles and stick the spots on the red wings, although this step can be done before gluing the red circles into a three-dimensional part.
- Stick the resulting ladybug onto the base sheet.
- If desired, supplement the panel with details in the form of grass, flowers, sun.
Felt applique
A beautiful and simple ladybug (application) is easy to make not only from paper, but also from fabric, and it is even more convenient to use felt. It is bright, and most importantly, does not require processing slices.
The work is as follows:
- Find or draw a contour image of a ladybug on your own and prepare stencils of the constituent elements. If you make the insect simplified, in the form of geometric shapes, then it is enough to cut out circles of different diameters from the cardboard for the body, head and spots.
- Attach the blanks to a felt of the appropriate color.
- Circle the parts along the contour and cut out all the parts in the required quantity.
- Take the base and glue or sew the head on it, then the body, and the spots on top.
- Make small parts: antennae, paws, eyes. They are easy to stick.
So, there are several ways to make a ladybug (application). It is easy and fun. Get your child creative. Make different product options.
