Quentin Tarantino is known for his friendship with Robert Rodriguez. The directors often help each other on the set of films, but they are unlikely to ever take off joint work. However, not so long ago, in 2007, they created the Grindhouse dilogy, designed in the spirit of Class B films, which at one time were considered a kind of experimental movie with a low budget, unknown actors and an adult orientation. Rodriguez released The Planet of Fear, and his faithful companion, The Proof of Death. Actors in both films, however, were chosen not only by beginners, but also who managed to win a name for themselves, and Tarantino usually does not skimp on the budget.
Plot
The film resorts to a certain division into 2 parts with approximately the same timing. Both of them are connected by the presence of the main character, and at the same time the villain, Mike, but in addition to him, different actors are involved in each.
Death Proof begins when a trio of cheeky friends named Arlene, Shanna, and Julia Jungle take a short trip to Texas to celebrate the latter’s birthday. Along the way, they stop at a small roadside bar for a drink and a break. There they meet stuntman Mike along with his deadly machine designed for stunts. From his behavior and appearance, it becomes clear that he is up to something dangerous.
The second part carries forward 14 months after the first half of the picture "Proof of Death." Actors and roles are changing. New girls appear before the viewer, whom the aged stuntman is again watching. Their confrontation unfolds on the highway, where in the death race the fate of the main characters will be decided.

Part 2
In fact, in the film "Death Proof" the actors are inferior in number to the actresses, since basically the action takes place around female characters.
