Like most peers, she watched with admiration the famous actresses shining on the screens of movie theaters, but it was an unattainable fairy tale. In real life, Svetlana Savelova had to choose her own path after graduation. Her decision was to enter a medical institute, but the plans were not destined to come true. Fateful meeting turned upside down all life Savelova. Jacob Segel saw in her the one that he could not find.

“Goodbye, pigeons!”

While Sveta was preparing to enter the institute and at the same time worked as a saleswoman in Sevastopol, the director Yakov Segel rushed around in search of the main character for the filming of “Farewell, doves!”. A huge number of samples were taken, an advertisement was posted in the newspapers. All members of the crew were involved in the search for a young girl no older than 18 years old. But the director could not find the one that could ideally display the image of the nurse Tanechka Bulatova on the screen.
