This document gives the right to carry out medical activities as part of the treatment of this particular ailment, as a result of which the dispensary's employees provide TB care to the population in the territory adjacent to the institution. Accordingly, there is usually a regional TB dispensary, which, in turn, is a key link in the general service to combat this disease in the Russian Federation.

- administrative department;
- X-ray department, which usually includes a fluorographic office;
- bacteriological department;
- laboratory research department;
- Department of extrapulmonary tuberculosis;

The TB dispensary has a regular and a day hospital.
Treatment of ailment in children
Since the diagnosis of tuberculosis affects the body, regardless of age, a state-accredited children's TB dispensary must be located on the territory of each region of the Russian Federation. Juvenile patients are identified there similarly to adults, in the direction from the children's TB specialist at the district clinic. In institutions of this type, clinical care is provided to children and adolescents with an appropriate disease, while preventive measures are also taken to identify an illness at an early stage, which will greatly facilitate its treatment. In a children's dispensary, there is usually a day and a general hospital, for which wards of various capacities are provided. If tuberculosis has advanced forms, the minor patient will be in an isolated room, while the hospitalization of his parents will be prohibited.
