Katherine Elizabeth McGrath was born on January 3, 1983 in the Irish village of Ashford (sometimes called Ashford). His father, Paul McGrath, worked as a system administrator, and his mother, Laney Mary McGrath, was an assistant designer. The family has three children, Katherine has two older brothers - Rory and Sean. Rory subsequently became a producer of post-production, and Sean works as a manager.
