Emotions are part of our life, they, like litmus paper, show personality, allow you to experience different feelings and feel like a real, living person. It would seem that there is nothing wrong with such an ability of the body. But here is a situation that is similar to an example of the ratio of the number of medicines: if used normally, it’s a medicine, and if “overdone” is poison. And also excessive emotions can poison a person’s life if they are literally reflected on the face.
Fine skin structure
What makes the face red? It seems that the answer can be so vague and voluminous that it is extremely difficult to understand. In order not to get confused, we will go the way “from the general to the particular”, and while we will “go”, the situation will surely become clearer.
Thin skin is characterized in that the upper layer of the epidermis, due to various factors (but most often due to a hereditary predisposition), has a delicate and fragile structure of a very light shade. The vessels that are under it expand, become visible in the form of uneven spots or even areas, and therefore the face turns red.
- So we became aware of the first common reason: light and thin skin. In order to start the fight against redness of the face already at this stage, firstly, you need to choose the right cosmetic treatment intended for sensitive skin. Secondly, try not to create stressful situations in the form of a sharp change in temperature. Especially you should avoid visiting baths, saunas and tanning salons. And thirdly, if possible, consume more freshly prepared juices and fruit salads.
Subtle structure of the soul
When a person has a frustrated nervous system, or a vulnerable psychological nature, then in his force majeure (according to his assessment) circumstances, his face turns red. This happens because of his attitude to the event, in which he considers his role to be very significant and therefore is very worried. The excited nervous system spurs the whole body: hands tremble, heartbeat quickens and blood rushes to the head. Having light skin, red spots on his face become noticeable from the first seconds of excitement.
The reason for this is the excessive activity of the sympathetic nervous system, which regulates the filling of blood vessels with the help of emissions of norepinephrine. Due to its specific location in the body and functions, as well as thin scalp, redness appears mainly in the face.
- Now we know about the role of the nervous system in those cases when the face reddens. In order to adjust its effect on facial redness, firstly, psychological exercises are needed to adjust the personality’s reactions to what is happening. It is necessary to instill confidence and achieve independence from the opinions of others. Also try not to be shy to show your emotions and express them to your environment. Secondly, there is an operational method for treating the problem, but it is the most extreme way out of the situation, as it has dangerous side effects in the case of a poorly performed operation. It consists in the removal of sympathetic nerve nodes. And, thirdly, it is worth contacting a neurologist who will prescribe the necessary drugs for the temporary control of his reactions.
High blood pressure
When the face turns red, it means that the vessels have expanded. And therefore, high pressure also contributes to the appearance of spots on the face. Usually this is especially evident when a person is hot: blood pressure rises, swelling appears, and if the face has fair skin, then the redness of the face is provided.
- To eliminate this problem, first of all, you need to move to a cool room, use the medications prescribed by your doctor to lower blood pressure, and take a calm position.
Cold allergy
If your face turns red after you have entered a warm room, and before that you froze for a long time (and this condition does not go away for more than half an hour), then this reaction of the body can be immunological. If you are allergic to cold, then redness of the face manifests itself as an additional symptom to itching, tearing and swelling. When these manifestations are not confirmed, it makes no sense to talk about facial redness as an immunological problem.
- To remove this allergic reaction, you should use antihistamines that block the release of histamine and then consult a doctor.
