All sketches were united by one storyline. Two teenagers discover on the Internet information about a film called "Movie 43". Then they begin to search for the file, but do not find a single mention in open sources. Therefore, thanks to hacker skills, they find several separate videos of the allegedly forbidden film and watch it.

Farrelli was worth the tremendous effort to assemble the whole team to participate in "Movie 43". Actors of this rank were constantly busy, and their schedules did not often coincide. For example, Gerard Battler at that time starred in three more films. George Clooney first agreed to participate, but then refused. Halle Berry did not agree until the rest of the participants were confirmed. Filming each episode took only a few days. Because they did not require special decorations or unique places. Most of the scenes were filmed in New York, because the actors did not agree to violate their schedule. For example, Richard Gere agreed only on the condition of filming in the city.
