A disease characterized by a congenital lack of pigment in the skin, its appendages, the iris and pigment of the eyes, is commonly called albinism. The color of body tissues depends on a special substance - melanin, for the normal synthesis of which the enzyme tyronase is necessary. When this enzyme is absent, the pigment is also absent. White skin and hair in albinos from birth. Albino blacks are no exception. In most cases, converging strabismus and a decrease in visual acuity are observed . There are no effective treatments for the disease. Patients are advised not to expose themselves to sunlight, and when going out to the street, use light-protective agents: darkened lenses, sunglasses, filters. It is not difficult to preserve the health of people with such a pathology, however, this small black albino (photo below) has practically no chance to live up to his fortieth birthday.

Scientists cannot answer the question of why in Tanzania and other East African states albinos are born 15 times more than the average on the planet. Negro albino is very vulnerable, because, no matter how wild it may sound, he is the object of a real hunt. "Classic blacks" chop them into pieces, and then eat them as medicine.
According to ancient belief, the albino flesh has healing properties. Local sorcerers and healers even cure AIDS, prescribing the dried genitals of a "transparent" relative as a healing drug. The killings of white Negroes are widespread. There is evidence that since 2006, 71 Negro albino died at the hands of hunters, and
more than 30 managed to escape from the killers. The excitement of hunters is quite explainable: the albino flesh, sold out in parts, brings income, calculated in a very decent amount: from 50 to 100 thousand dollars.
Until recently, cannibals managed to evade responsibility. The kidnapped and killed black albino was declared βmissingβ, and the authorities made no attempt to search for him and punish the criminals. However, the brutal practices in Tanzania caused and continue to cause indignation in the West, so the authorities had to deal with the punishment of human hunters. More recently, in 2009, three men were sentenced to death by whom a 14-year-old white-skinned youth was caught and chopped to pieces. It was the first cannibal trial to force them to change tactics. From now on, the negro albino who has been caught has a chance to stay alive, although he is pretty crippled - without arms and legs. Human hunters switched to chopping off the limbs of albinos, which, in the case of the capture of criminals, threatens them with 5-8-year imprisonment for serious bodily harm.

Here are a few more figures of sad statistics. Over the past 3 years, 90 albinos have been deprived of limbs, three of them died from injuries. The reason that only 2% of Tanzanian blacks with a diagnosis of albinism survives before the age of 40 is not only their extermination for eating. In conditions of poverty, it is difficult to ensure the preservation of vision, which albinos, who have barely reached adolescence, lose 60-80%. The probability of developing skin cancer for an albino at the age of 30 is 60%. Residents of one of the poorest countries on the planet born with a diagnosis of albinism need support from a civilized world community.
