For the first time, Cain appears in the series in the ninth chapter, the eleventh episode, which is called "Firstborn". According to the plot of the TV show "Supernatural," Cain is the first killer. The story of the hero is based on the biblical story of the two sons of the first people of Adam and Eve. Cain is the oldest child of the couple, his brother's name was Abel. Once, due to the fact that God liked the sacrifices of Abel, Cain begins to get angry with the Almighty and his brother, which later led to the first murder.
In the series, the story of Cain and Abel was presented differently. He tells the truth about the murder to Dean and Crowley. As it turned out, the younger brother of the hero came under the influence of Lucifer. In order to prevent Abel from going to hell because of Satan, Cain made a deal with the fallen angel, according to which he had to go to hell instead of his brother. In order for the treaty to enter into force, Cain had to personally kill Abel.
Going to hell, Cain turned into a powerful demon, he was also called the Knight of Hell. There he began to train other demons, making them an incredibly strong team, the most dangerous creatures on the planet. However, after meeting with Collet Cain wanted a normal life. Other Knights of Hell did not want to let go of their commander, so they attacked the house of Cain and Kollet, as a result of which the hero's wife died. Despite the death of his beloved, Cain continues to live a human life without harming anyone.
During Dean’s first meeting with the First Killer on the TV series Supernatural, Cain refuses to help Winchester, however, after attacking his house, he begins to kill demons. After that, the thirst for murder woke up in Cain again and he began to destroy people. After his long years of silence, his first victim was a serial killer who was awaiting the death penalty. Kain became more and more killed at the hands of Cain, so Dean decided to fight the hero. The last meeting of the characters is shown in the fourteenth episode titled “The Executioner's Song” of the tenth season. In the battle, Dean was able to kill Cain, saving the world from the most dangerous demon.
First blade
Since Cain was an incredibly powerful hero, he had powerful weapons that also acted supernaturally. Seasons 9 and 10 reveal the power of the First Blade very well.
It represents the jaw of an animal, it was with it that he killed his brother Abel. During Dean’s first meeting with the hero in the series Supernatural, Cain doesn’t tell Winchester where the blade is. It turns out later that after the death of Collette, he left his weapon at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, where no one, even himself, could reach him. The reason for getting rid of the blade was the promise of a dying wife, according to which Cain should not avenge her death and kill people, which he followed before meeting with Dean.
When Dean and Crowley found out the whereabouts of the blade, the latter went in search of him. He later discovers that Cain’s weapons are no longer on the ocean floor. Then the Winchesters find out that the blade was found by the Keepers of Knowledge, also known as Enlightened. From the vault, he was stolen by Magnus. Dean later takes the blade from Magnus, and Crowley hides it from the older Winchester.
Cain's mark
Despite the fact that the First Blade is the most dangerous weapon, it is no bigger than the jaw of animals when it is in the hands of ordinary people and even creatures. In order for the blade to harm any powerful demon or archangel, it must be used by a person with the Mark of Cain.
Lucifer gave Cain a special Mark, which would symbolize the sale of his soul and would always remind of the murder of his brother. Also, she gave her bearer incredible power and immortality. Despite all the advantages, the Mark is a kind of one of the first curses of the world, because its carrier after death turned into a demon. Cain passed it to Dean, which is why he had to fight the thirst for murder.
