Plot
The plot of the film "Don't Tell Anyone" tells about the exciting story of the two spouses.
The main characters - Alexander and Margot Beck - have been friends since childhood. For about six years, they happily lived in marriage. All this time their life resembled a fairy tale, until our heroine was attacked. The main character is trying hard to save his wife, but he can’t do it, because he was stunned by a strong blow to the head, and then thrown into the lake.
Alexander managed to escape, but he does not know who saved his life, but Margot was less fortunate. The woman was found dead, her own father identified the corpse. Initially, it was believed that it was Alexander who killed his wife, but then it all came down to the fact that she became the victim of a serial killer.
It has been 8 years since this terrible incident. The bodies of two people who were killed 5 years ago were found in the same lake. In the pocket of one of them was discovered the key to the bank cell of the murdered spouse of the protagonist. An old hunting rifle and photos of a battered heroine were found in a cell. After discovering new evidence in an old case, the police resumed the investigation.
At the same time, a fresh video came to Alexander’s mail, in which his wife was depicted. It turns out that Margot is alive. But fate prepared another unexpected turn: the woman’s girlfriend, Charlotte, was killed, and Alexander was accused of her death. During a search of his apartment, a gun was found, from which the murder was committed.
Alexander knew that he was about to be arrested, but at the same moment he received a letter from his wife, in which she made an appointment with him. He eagerly wants to see his "surviving" wife, but understands that if he is arrested, then he will not see a meeting.
The main character came to the park, where a date was made. There he could not see his wife, but was abducted by unknown people. After his capture, the criminals began to elicit information from him about where Margo was.
Alexander was lucky, he was saved by one man who was indebted to him for the fact that the main character saved his son about three years ago. The bandit managed to injure one of the criminals, and then convinced the two remaining that they let Alexander go.
Further, our main character was able to find out where the photos of his battered wife came from. It turned out that the pictures were taken by his sister. According to her, Margo was beaten by her partner Phillip Neuville, who was responsible for organizing a fund for orphans with her.
It turned out that after this incident he was soon killed. The main suspect in this case received an alibi, Margot admitted that they were lovers. Alexander had previously met a murderer, but he also knew that his wife was faithful to him, and did not cheat on him with this man.
Meanwhile, all suspicions were removed from the protagonist. The police admitted that it was not he who killed Charlotte, so Major Levkovich was able to get new evidence. In addition, the main character had an iron alibi.
Further, after a careful study of the details of the body of the murdered "wife," it turns out that it was not her. In addition, all details of the murder of the girl were seized by her father.
After that, Alexander goes to meet with his wife’s father, where they had an important conversation, which the police officers overheard using the built-in microphone.
Then Alexander learned that it was Father Margot who killed Phillip, who was the son of a very wealthy and influential person. His father, Gilbert Neville, hired three people to kill the girl, but her father managed to bribe one of them. As a result, three of the killers were drowned in the lake, and the murder of Margo was rigged. Instead, her father mutilated the corpse of a drug addict, he passed him off as the body of his daughter. By the way, it was he who pulled Alexander out of the lake.
The man realized that they were eavesdropping on their conversation. Using the TV, he was able to introduce some interference into the recording of the conversation. At that moment, he told the truth. It turns out that it is our heroine who is guilty of the death of Phillip.
After that, Margo found out that the case of her death was resumed, and that Alexander became the main suspect. She decided to return to the country and save her husband, after which they reunited.
