Drawing shops is quite an exciting experience, because they can look completely different. It can be either a small rural store or a huge supermarket in some metropolis. In this article, we will look at several ways to draw a store.
Simple and small
To portray a small store, first draw a rectangle. It will be the building itself. Below we draw another line at the base of the store. Above we depict a canopy in the shape of a trapezoid. Across the canopy, we draw several slightly inclined bands, and from the bottom we add figures in the form of semicircles.
We draw another narrow rectangle above the canopy and draw an additional line along it.
To the right under the canopy we depict a large window in the form of a rectangle. Add another smaller quadrangle inside the window to get a window frame.
To the right of the window we draw a rectangular door. To it, too, draw a frame and a long handle in the center.
Add a small rectangular plate with the inscription "Open" on the window and wipe off the excess lines. Having drawn a store with a pencil, it should be painted using paints, felt-tip pens or colored pencils.
Small supermarket
To draw a larger store, first we draw a wide rectangle, and on it a figure in the shape of a trapezoid. When drawing, do not press on the pencil so that unnecessary lines can be easily wiped.
We draw a barely noticeable vertical line in the center and lead it higher, beyond the trapezoid. Using this line as a guideline, draw a triangle in the center of the trapezoid. After that, we wipe the base of the triangle and draw an additional line along the bottom of the trapezoid and the upper sides of the triangle.
On a wide rectangle through the center line, draw the doors of the supermarket. We draw a line in the center, because the doors should turn out double. We add an additional frame to the doors and draw two horizontal stripes to depict a wide door handle.
On both sides of the door we draw rectangular windows and add a few vertical and horizontal lines in the form of a lattice. Windows should also have a frame, so we finish it.
On the right side of the supermarket we depict trolleys. First, draw the wrong rectangle, add legs and wheels from below, and a small handle from above. We finish some more carts.
At the end, add the inscription "Supermarket" in the center of the building. So that the inscription does not appear on the side, draw the letter "M" on the center line, and then add the rest of the word.
When you have finished drawing the outline, wipe off the unnecessary lines and color your store.
Clothing store
Now let's try to draw a place that girls love to visit - a clothing store. It is a little more difficult to draw it than the previous options, since you will need to depict the goods on the window. Here's how to draw a store in stages:
- We draw a wide rectangle, and above it we draw a trapezoid and draw stripes across it.
- Under the trapezoid, add semicircles to make a canopy.
- Up from the edges of the canopy draw two short lines and connect them with an arc.
- Inside the resulting figure, we depict another one of the same, but smaller size, and we write in it the inscription: “Clothing store”.
- On the right on a large rectangle we draw a door, and under it - steps.
- On the left we draw two showcases. On one of them we depict four mannequins with dresses, and on the second we add several shelves.
- On the upper two shelves we draw several shoes, and on the bottom we depict three handbags.
A toy shop
To draw a toy store, first draw a square. From above we draw a trapezoid-shaped roof. It should be slightly wider than the main part of the building.
Now we depict an oval sign on the store with the words "Toys". On the roof of the store, add small semicircles, imitating shingles.
On the left side of the building we depict a rectangular door with a round handle. On the right we draw a square display case, behind which are the toys.
Products on display can be very different. For example, on the right, draw a teddy bear. His head is a small circle, his eyes are two black dots, his ears are two small semicircles. On the bear’s head we draw another small circle - for the nose and mouth. The mouth of this toy resembles the number "3", and we draw the nose with another small circle.
On the top left, draw three oval balls, under which a round soccer ball will lie, and draw a small toy airplane above the bear.
How to draw a toy store window
Showcases can be not only of different sizes and types, but also in different ways.
First, it’s best to try to draw a simple rectangular display case with shelves. To do this, draw a large quadrangle and three rectangles inside, located one above the other. The showcase itself is ready for this, but the goods must be on it. Therefore, on the shelves you need to draw toys.
On the upper shelf on the left we will depict a toy pyramid consisting of figures in the form of elongated ovals. Next, using simple geometric shapes, draw a teddy hare. We also place a doll on the top shelf.
On the middle shelf, draw a tumbler, which has a pear-shaped shape, a toy truck and children's blocks.
On the lower shelf, we depict a toy steam locomotive with wagons and paint a showcase.
Grocery store
To draw a store in which products are sold, we depict a quadrangle and inside it is a large showcase with a shelf. From above we draw a trapezoidal canopy.
Now we place vegetables on the shelves. Drawing them is not at all difficult. For example, tomatoes are circles slightly flattened on top with a pair of narrow leaves. Draw some of these tomatoes lying on top of each other. Then you can draw a few carrots in the form of small inverted cones. Add a couple of ears of corn by drawing two leaflets below and a parabola-shaped figure on top. Also depict a few eggplants, turnips and peppers, and to finish the drawing, you need to colorize it.
