Biography
The future champion was born on March 12, 1987. The birthplace was one of the country's industrial centers - Cherepovets. As a rule, famous athletes begin to train almost immediately after birth. Shipachev Vadim - a hockey player who got into the section only at 8 years old. The boy, one might say, ended up there by accident. He just wanted to play sports, no matter what (he loved football). I went out on the ice with a friend for the company that had signed up earlier.
Few people know where later Comrade Vadim was. The recruited group included eighty people, of whom only about three became professionals. Training took place daily. At seven in the morning, Vadim Shipachev was already on the ice. And before that I got about an hour by public transport. Combining classes at school and section was not easy.
From the age of eleven he studied at the school of the hockey club Severstal. The boy was small, weak, but stood out for hard work. At first he played in defense, but he did not succeed in stopping powerful attackers. At the age of 14, Shipachev was transferred to the attack, where his main skills appeared: speed, ingenuity and cunning.
Professional career
In 2005, he joined the core team of Severstal. However, he could not gain a foothold immediately. The Cherepovets club is well-known, and very experienced hockey players play for it, so Vadim Shipachev went to gain experience at HC Belgorod. The club also played in the major league, but was not so titled. Until 2009, he played in Belgorod, trying to reach a new level, and then returned to Severstal.
Severstal
The 2009/10 season showed that Shipachev reached a new professional level. Vadim immediately became the most productive in the composition. I especially remember the fans with their chic assists. The next season, he finished second in the club in terms of performance, scoring 15 goals. The indicators brought the hockey player a ticket to the Russian national team. Soon he got the opportunity to play in the match of all stars. The following year, it was Vadim Shipachev who managed to get into the club from St. Petersburg.
SKA
In 2013, Shipachev was transferred to SKA, and no one asked his opinion. It is worth saying that the hockey player did not mind playing in the elite team of Russia. In addition, Cherepovets near St. Petersburg, which often allowed to visit relatives. Together with the striker, several of his teammates went to SKA.
In the new club Shipachev reached the peak of his skill, demonstrating an amazing game. In 2015, he helped to win the Gagarin Cup, and also became the most productive in the playoffs.

Shipachev has a wife - Catherine. He met her on one of the social networks. Before the first meeting, the girl thought that Vadim was a simple student, and not the future world hockey champion. Catherine married an athlete and does not regret it. She has only one complaint: a player is rarely at home, training even on the weekend. Spouses raise two daughters. Wife does not miss a single match of Vadim, although he does not know all the hockey rules.
