If you think that office workers are not in wait for health troubles, then you are mistaken. Yes, the work is not dusty, yes, there is no strong physical exertion. But a long sitting at the table or at the monitor also leaves an imprint on well-being. And to this we can add accidents, falls, bruises, minor ailments and other problems and problems. From this we can conclude that the office first-aid kit is not a whim and not a nit-picking of checking authorities. It must be available, even if the team has only a few people.
Rules for storage of the first-aid kit
The Labor Code provides every employee with the right to labor protection. Each employer is responsible for fulfilling the requirements of the code. That is, the employer must provide the office staff with medical care.
The first-aid kit office should be stored in a certain place. All drugs must be labeled or signed. Particular attention is paid to the shelf life of drugs, since an expired drug can aggravate the condition of the victim. For the timely replenishment of spent funds and control of their expiration dates, the office employee responsible for labor protection is responsible. The Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation in March 2011 issued an order "On approval of the requirements for completing first-aid kits for medical supplies for first aid to employees." The order number is 169n. In accordance with this document, the number of drugs in the set and the regulatory documents (GOSTs) on them are established. The office medical kit is mandatory to be completed with products that have been registered in the Russian Federation.
In addition to medical devices, they must also contain pictograms explaining to unskilled employees the rules of first aid.
What should be in the composition
The first-aid kit is office, the composition of which is regulated in accordance with TU U 24.4-19246991-012-2001, should include:
- a set of necessary tools to stop bleeding and bandage the victim of an injury (these are unsterile and sterile bandages, cotton wool, a patch, a tourniquet to stop bleeding);
- antiseptics and disinfectants (brilliant green or iodine, hydrogen peroxide);
- pain relievers ("Analgin", "Ketanov", "Ibuprofen", "Citromon", "Tempalgin");
- anti-inflammatory drugs ("Streprocid", "Septefril", "Naphthyzin");
- drugs that lower body temperature ("Paracetomol", "Aspirin");
- antispasmodics (No-shpa, Drotaverin, Spazmalgon);
- cardiological preparations (Validol, Corvalol);
- sedatives (tincture or valerian tablets);
- enterosorbents (activated carbon);
- antimicrobial agents for the intestine (Phthalazole, Levomycetin);
- pressure reducing agents (Raunatin);
- digestion enhancers (Pancreatin);
- choleretic agent ("Allohol").
The kit should include medical gloves, a thermometer, a respirator, scissors, a directory and a list of attachments.
All of the above funds should be equipped in a soft or hard case. For ease of use, the first-aid kit office can be placed in a hanging cabinet.

In order to properly issue a first-aid kit for inspection bodies, it is necessary to form a small package of documents. First of all, an order should be issued by which a responsible employee will be appointed, whose duties include the purchase of an appropriate set of medical devices, their storage and use. The same document confirms the composition and place where the office first aid kit will be located. The order must indicate the use and method of control over the contents of the first-aid kit.
The next stage is the design of a registration journal, in which cases of the use of drugs will be recorded and marks on their verification and replacement (completion) will be put down. All entries in the journal are made under the signature of the responsible person.
Separately, instructions for the provision of first aid must be developed and approved, and the telephone numbers of the medical center and emergency call are indicated.
