Such a fertile ground could not ignore the film industry. Therefore, there were exciting films loved by the audience, the plot of which is the sea voyage.

And this is not surprising, since every large ocean-going vessel is a huge floating city. Therefore, any plot, the action of which takes place on board such a liner, acquires scale, and therefore becomes very intriguing and interesting. The main plot milestones of paintings of this kind are armed conflict (sometimes it can occur even with extraterrestrial civilizations, but more often with modern pirates or terrorists), a clash with the elements or mystical phenomena.

This movie masterpiece will not burden the mind of the beholder with hidden subtext and the search for the philosophical meaning of life. This first film work of ex-screenwriter Mort Nathan is quite unpretentious and is purely thoughtless entertainment.
The plot of the picture is based on the story of the misfortunes of two friends happening to them on the liner during the cruise. Nick and Jerry, as a result of the insidious revenge of an employee of a travel company, get on a liner crowded with young people with an unconventional sexual orientation. All comic situations are connected with the fact that guys are forced to pretend to be in love with each other, so as not to stand out from the general background. But at the same time, Jerry manages to fall in love with the only girl on the ship. However, after that, Nick will be lucky, because he will manage to knock down a helicopter from a rocket launcher, on which models from the Bikini contest were flying. And this is only the beginning of fun and piquant sea adventures.
By the way, in the original title of the film Boat Trip contains a visible allusion to the well-known television series Love Boat (“The Ship of Love”). “Sea voyage” is a film that has another version of the name in the national box office - “Sea voyage”.
