Actress Kashtanova Sofia is best known to the Russian audience for her roles in the films “Resort Romance”, “Random Communication”, “Police Officer from Rublevka” and “Psychologist”. She is the daughter of writer and screenwriter Antonov Andrey, and her mother is the former actress of the Moscow Art Theater Alla Kashtanova.
Biography
Sofia was born in Moscow on August 6, 1987. From an early age, she loved reading, especially poetry. When the girl was 8 years old, her parents broke up, after which Sofia, together with her mother and stepfather, moved to Mexico.
There, the future artist received a secondary education, mastered Spanish and English. The main hobbies of young Sofia were equestrianism and Latin American dances. At the age of 17, Kashtanova returned to her homeland in order to receive a theater education. In 2004, she became a student at the Moscow Art Theater (workshop of D. Brusnikin and R. Kozak).

Sofia Kashtanova first appeared on the screens in 2006, playing Mika in the comedy thriller “The Insatiable”. In parallel, the novice actress starred in the TV series Students and Detectives. For some time, the girl played in the criminal films “Pursuit of Shadow”, “Law and Order”, “Indiscriminate Killing”, “Cruel Business”, “Lawyer” and others, but she soon swore to participate in such projects, not wanting to encourage violence and robbery in art.
In the melodrama "Zero Kilometer" Kashtanova got a performance of an episodic character. Sophia played her first key role in the art-house film “Random Communication”. Her heroine received the name Marianne. Personal life
Currently, the girl lives about seven months in Moscow, and after filming is sent to Mexico. It is also known that Sofia Kashtanova is not married and has not yet managed to become a mother.
While in Mexico, the artist met with a Chilean for three years. Their relationship was interrupted due to the jealousy of a young man. While working on the movie "Luna-Luna" between Kashtanova and Semakin Artem, a romantic relationship began that did not last long.
