Films and TV shows in South Korea very easily and quickly enter the everyday life of far from Asian residents. They reveal important social problems, due to which cinema is held for a long time in everyday life not only for children, but also for adults.
The main theme of dramas is love. Although serial events have little to do with the real life of both foreigners and Koreans themselves, even the indigenous people admit that looking at the development of events is always interesting, even if the plot is old enough.
The second most popular topic is gender intrigue. Here, the main character or hero disguise herself in the opposite sex to achieve certain goals: gaining fame, moving up the career ladder, etc. A similar topic attracts Europeans, if only because it is unusual and slightly different from the American, Russian, and other television series that they are familiar with.
In addition to the genres in which the dramas are shot, they are able to instill a love for their country, culture and its customs. Koreans are true patriots, which is so lacking in the foreign film industry.
One of Korea’s leading dramas is Boys Beat More Flowers. Actors are the first thing that pushes viewers to watch. According to the residents of Asia, the personalities selected for the shoot are amazingly beautiful and do their job well. Famous actors such as Lee Min Ho, Ge Hye Song, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bom, Kim Joon, Kim So Eun, Kim Hyun Jo, Lee Hyo Young and others starred in this drama. All of them gained wild popularity in their homeland and in other countries of Asia.
About South Korean Cinema
Often, critics are strict about most American films because of the presence of vulgarity, vulgarity, monotony. This is true, however, Hollywood still continues to delight the world with powerful stories that will remain forever in the heart of the beholder and will not decay over time. Unfortunately, no other country in the world can boast the same number of eternally living masterpieces, with the exception of South Korea.
Over the past ten years, this peninsula has become the best in the field of Asian cinema. Here, the government supports domestic cinema, invests a lot of money, and also prohibits movie theaters from showing mainly foreign films. Local paintings already bring good earnings, and the population appreciates them.
A distinctive feature of South Korean stories is that the directors cover those aspects of life that do not conflict with the mentality of other countries. This is what gives them the opportunity to constantly flicker at international film festivals. Robber Mackey was amazed at how passionate, interesting, and amazing scripts come from Asian authors. Now the largest film companies in America are actively creating remakes for the famous Korean films. When deciding to remove the American Oldboy, Steven Spielberg (the famous director), having looked at the original, refused to take part in this. All due to the fact that this work of art has been recognized by more than one critic, and attempts to remove a foreign version may simply fail.
Korean cinema reached the hearts of Russian citizens. However, development is slow enough, as distributors fear that people with a biased attitude towards Asia as a whole will not go to watch movies.
Korean films and series (better known as "dramas") teach a person to live, to set priorities in life correctly. They should be watched not only by ordinary citizens, but also by foreign producers. Everything that this country creates is saturated with nationalism, faith in itself and its country.

Story line
The main character, Gym Chan Di, a girl from a poor family, worked in dry cleaning. She was supposed to take a clean uniform to a guy who is studying at one of Seoul's most significant educational institutions - Shinhwa School. When she arrives at the meeting place, she realizes that this student, which she needs, is trying to throw herself off the roof, and ultimately saves him. This event thundered throughout the capital.
Around the “Shinkhva” there was a scandal over the fact that only the children of wealthy parents study there , while the poor constantly commit suicide. In order to resolve the conflict, the administration of the institution decides to accept Chiang Di on a budget to its school. Reluctantly, under pressure from her parents, she nevertheless agrees and this is exactly what turns her life around. Here she meets a powerful four guys who, even at their very young age, already have a huge influence both in Seoul itself and beyond. They are called simply - F4. Their leader is Gu Joon Pyo (the main character), stubborn, frivolous and arrogant, preventing the main character from living quietly. The culmination in the drama occurs when a friend of Chiang Di drops an ice cream on the leader's boot. After his terrible reaction to this, she is forced to declare war on him.
Characters and actors of the series
The drama “Boys Are More Beautiful than Flowers”, whose actors became quite popular after its release, has many main and secondary characters. They all have their own stories and characters, which will be described below.
Gym Chan Di (Gu Hye Song) is the main character. Stubborn, fair, brave. Always able to stand up for the truth. First appeared in "Shinhva" because of the business of her parents. The student she saved from suicide received a card from F4, which meant "you don’t live here." The four would do everything to turn his life into hell. Some time after studying at school, the heroine herself receives this card. However, she has a strong spirit, it is difficult to break, especially since one of the school’s influential guys, Ji Hu, is taking her side. First falls in love with him, and then begins to reciprocate the feelings of the leader of F4.
Gu Joon Pyo (Lee Min Ho) is the main character. Cynical, selfish, as well as the leader of the school four. He is the son of the director of the Shinkhva corporation, under whose guidance this school is located. Since childhood, the boy grew up without parents, surrounded by workers at home. Joon Pyo is used to being indulged and loved by him. It was the disobedience of Gym Jang Di that aroused anger in him. However, during the war with her, he begins to feel feelings for the girl. Most likely, the love arose because the heroine reminded him of his sister: the same freedom-loving, independent girl, able to always fight for the truth. At the beginning of the drama, it is clear that he is an ordinary major. But in the process of communicating with Chiang Di, he opens up in a different light: kind, caring, always ready to help his loved ones.
Yoon Ji Hu (Kim Hyun Joon) is another F4 guy. He has a romantic nature and a non-standard mindset. Able to play several musical instruments and has a perfect ear for music. Closed in itself, does not like to open to people. This behavior provoked a car accident in which his parents died. His grandfather is one of the former presidents of Korea. Jang Di helps the guy not only make peace with him (they haven’t communicated almost since the accident), but also to open up, become different and love this life.
Song Woo Bin (Kim Joon) - Don Juan from the powerful four. For the state, his family is a construction magnate who owns the largest construction conglomerate, hotels, casinos and night clubs. Unofficially, they are a mafia organization that has influence not only in South Korea, but also beyond its borders. That is why Wu Bin has authority over various gangs and thieves, he also shows in some episodes that he knows how to fight well. Jang Dee loves as a close friend, always supports her.
So And John (Kim Bom) - Casanova and one of the participants in F4. Kind, but at the same time cynical. He is engaged in pottery, like his father. The family owns the museum. He hides his true face under a mask. He believes in love deep down, but in fact he comes out with the fact that it does not exist. This is due to his childhood injury. Deal with her And John Yl (Jang Di's best friend) helped John.
Chu Ga Yl (Kim So Eun) is the girlfriend of the main character. Sincere, kind, honest, open. A true romantic and believes in true love for life. Initially, I considered John to be an upstart, however, having talked better, I was able to "read" him and understand who he really is.
Ku Joon Hee (Kim Hyun Joo) is Joon Pyo’s sister. Has the same character as Chiang Di. She communicates poorly with her mother, because she made her marry a businessman from Europe and forget her love. Gusty, sharp; Gim Chan Di and Gu Joon Pyo help converge, because he does not want her brother to repeat her fate.
All the characters in the drama "Boys are Beautifuler than Flowers", whose actors coped well with the roles, cannot be counted: there are a lot of episodic roles and a lot of unrevealed characters.
