Hydrogen Peroxide - Home Use

The compound of hydrogen peroxide in nature is almost not found, since it decomposes quite easily, in contact with a living system. Hydrogen peroxide is produced chemically by enriching hydrogen with oxygen. In contact with any organism, hydrogen peroxide is destroyed, but at the same time it destroys the opponent. Such a chemical process is accompanied by the decay of molecules, in which microbes that are in the reaction zone die simultaneously. This process served as the basis for the use of hydrogen peroxide in medical practice.

The most effective and safe way for medical practice is the external use of this compound. Hydrogen peroxide is used in medicine in all cases of violation of the integrity of the skin - with scratches, cuts, injuries. And then, only in those cases when it is required to carry out an urgent disinfection of the surface, to perform mechanical cleaning of the damaged skin from small foreign particles. With this compound, bacterial infection is prevented, and also used as protection against the development of pathogenic microflora in case of insufficient local immunity. By receiving such unforeseen help, local immunity copes much faster with the cause of infection, which allows the wound to close faster. This allows you to achieve a decrease in changes in the skin, which contributes to the use of hydrogen peroxide for cosmetic purposes.

Hydrogen peroxide was used only for exposure to areas with skin lesions, because it is in such places that the pathogenic bacteria that it destroys penetrate. Therefore, you should not treat the skin, which is not changed - after contact, in this case, hydrogen peroxide will burn the excretory ducts of the sweat and sebaceous glands. Simultaneously with a decrease in perspiration (which causes overloading of the kidneys with toxins), the sebum of the skin will also decrease. And this is almost guaranteed to cause the appearance of acne. It also makes no sense to treat peroxide with the skin in the area of the lymph nodes - if it is absorbed by the body, it can do more harm than good.

Although hydrogen peroxide has been used in cases where at first glance there is no skin damage. There are times when the skin gets microdamage. In such cases, the application of peroxide causes the appearance of characteristic white spots in such places. To determine the zone of microdamage, it is enough to treat it with alcohol - when burning appears, it will be obvious that this zone has microtraumas of the skin. Since during the treatment with peroxide, the release of the active oxidizing agent (oxygen) occurs outside the body, it does not bring any noticeable harm to human health.

To clear the back wall of the pharynx and tonsil from pathogenic microorganisms, remove plaque from the root of the tongue, the method of gargling with this compound is used by medicine.

How to gargle with hydrogen peroxide?

It is necessary to draw a small amount of the solution into the oral cavity, which is obtained by diluting in a glass of water a tablespoon of peroxide, throw your head back and continuously try to pronounce the letter combination "Glu-o-u." Repeat this action several times, then the liquid spits out. With a thorough rinse of the oral cavity, the root of the tongue is cleaned of plaque, and the tonsils and the back wall of the pharynx are cleaned of harmful microflora. At the end of the procedure, rinse your mouth with sterile water.

The procedure is performed after three hours using a glass of solution at a time. After the disappearance of plaque, you can continue it only with a solution of sterile water.

In the same way, you can clean your nose by injecting ten milliliters of peroxide into each nostril with a small syringe.
