The organ system indispensable for the body: human structure

From the point of view of anatomy, man is a complex system of organs. Indispensable for the body, each of them plays an important role. In this case, all systems interact with each other, forming a single whole.

Organ systems in the human body

Like animal bodies, the human body consists of elementary structures - cells. They, in turn, combine into tissues. The next level of organization is the organ. Heart, liver, stomach ... Each of them includes several types of tissue. To perform complex and diverse functions, there are organ systems of the animal organism. Each of them is specialized. But some come together to perform common functions. For example, only the coordinated work of the respiratory and circulatory systems provides gas exchange.

An organ system indispensable for the body

What is the most important organ system? And is there one that is irreplaceable? Musculoskeletal carries out movement of the body and its individual parts, respiratory and circulatory - gas exchange, excretory and digestive - metabolism. Thanks to the reproductive system , human reproduction occurs. And the regulation of functions is carried out by the nervous and endocrine systems. Each of them is important in its own way.

Musculoskeletal system

The bones that form the skeleton are combined in different ways. For example, the ulnar and humeral are movably connected. Such a structure is called a joint. But between the individual vertebrae there are cartilaginous layers. This is a semi-mobile connection. And when you look at the skull it seems that it consists of one bone. In fact, this is not so at all. This is an example of a fixed bone connection. The exception is only the lower jaw. The musculoskeletal system is also composed of muscles and ligaments, with which they are attached to the bones.

Digestive system

The digestive system begins with the oral cavity, in which the teeth and tongue are located. And it continues with the pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, which open outward through the anus. However, the breakdown of substances in this system would be impossible without the digestive glands: salivary, pancreas and liver.

Circulatory and respiratory

Another organ system indispensable for the body is the circulatory system. It consists of the heart and blood vessels through which blood moves. This liquid tissue transports gases, nutrients, and is involved in the formation of immunity and wound healing. The circulatory system is closely interconnected with the respiratory system, because the exchange of oxygen for carbon dioxide occurs in the lungs.

Excretory system

Urination occurs with the help of paired kidneys. Here, as a result of filtration and reabsorption, water is collected with the toxic metabolic products dissolved in it. They enter through the ureters, opening the canal.

Sexual

Man is a dioecious organism. But both the female and male systems have a common structural plan. It consists of gonads, ducts and cells. A person is characterized by internal fertilization and direct development. Thanks to intrauterine development, a completely viable organism appears.

Nervous and endocrine

These organ systems "guide" the body. The nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord, as well as individual fibers that depart from them. It connects the whole body into a single whole, and also implements its relationship with the outside world through the senses. As you can see, this is definitely a system of organs, indispensable for the body. Is human life possible without the action of hormones? Of course not. The processes of growth, puberty, regulation of metabolism are the result of the activity of the endocrine system.

So, each organ system, which is indispensable for the body, performs its function and determines its normal functioning. The complex coordinated structure of the human body, which has clear regulatory mechanisms, is the pinnacle of the evolutionary development of the organic world.
