The beginning of the way
The star of "Witching Love" was born in Minsk, it happened in January 1982. Dmitry Ratomsky was born in a family that was not related to the world of cinema. However, already in high school, he began to dream of an acting career.
Dmitry decided to continue his education at the Belarusian Theater Academy. Passing entrance exams to a talented young man was not difficult. Ratomsky successfully graduated from the Academy, then went to Moscow and entered the RATI. He was accepted to the course, the leader of which was Mark Zakharov. The young man received the RATI diploma in 2007.
First successes
Dmitry Ratomsky began acting in films as a student. The young man appeared in a number of Belarusian paintings, but episodic roles did not bring him fame. For the first time, a novice actor managed to attract the attention of viewers and directors in 2004. This happened thanks to the military drama "Territory of resistance." In the picture, Dmitry brilliantly embodied the image of a German soldier. The young man had his first fans, but it was still far from real popularity.
In 2005, the actor again starred in a drama telling about the events of the Great Patriotic War. In the television project "Man of War" by Alexei Muradov, he got the role of a brave scout Gavrilov. The series was welcomed by the audience, and critics noted its realism.

In 2007, Dmitry Ratomsky played a drummer soldier in the film “Servant of the Sovereigns”. Then the young man starred in the TV series "Runaways", "Travelers", "Braking Path", "Redhead". In the melodrama "Two in the Rain", which tells the love story of a successful entrepreneur and a young waitress, he got one of the key roles. The image of the protagonist in his youth, Dmitry embodied in the drama "Veronica will not come."
Dmitry Ratomsky, whose filmography in 2008 was replenished with the series “Witching Love”, finally became recognizable. The audience liked the character of the actor - a country boy Vovka. Roman Zaslavsky falls in love with a girl who helps him get rid of alcohol dependence, but the hero’s beloved is kidnapped. He is forced to recall the skills of a scout in order to save his beloved from a deadly threat. Dmitry also played one of the key roles in the detective "Blast Wave", the premiere of which is expected this winter. The plot of the film is kept secret.
