Undergoing daily stressful situations, children and adolescents, due to subjective reasons, can not always resist them, as a result of this, negative consequences may appear. So, very often we are talking about the anesthesia of schoolchildren and the associated increase in the number of crimes. Many situations are easier to prevent than to deal with the consequences later, which is why crime prevention in educational institutions is one of the important aspects of educators.
It is teachers who contribute to the upbringing of a person with an active life position, able to say no if necessary and clearly argue their opinion. For this, a variety of work is carried out, covering various aspects of the educational process. Not only class teachers, but also other pedagogical workers should participate in this activity: psychologist, subject teachers, head teacher of BP, etc. Only by joint efforts is it possible to get a positive result.
It should be noted factors that negatively affect the development and upbringing of the personality of adolescents and children, as a result of which juvenile delinquencies occur. This includes processes that are currently taking place in society. Among them are the relative availability of tobacco and alcohol, the promotion of violence and cruelty in the media, overt and covert unemployment, and the imperfection of law enforcement agencies. The situation in the family influences the formation of the child’s personality (composition, socio-cultural level of the parents, financial situation, parenting style, etc.).
Prevention of offenses at school should be carried out regularly and systematically. For this, an annual action plan on this topic is drawn up , and responsible persons are appointed.
In this activity, a huge role is given to working with the family. For this, the employees of the educational institution (social. Teacher, class teacher) study the socio-psychological status of the family. After conducting various diagnostics, questionnaires, the results are analyzed, summarized, a list of children from the “risk group”, dysfunctional or low-income children, etc. is compiled. It also draws conclusions about what topics of parent-teacher meetings and similar events will be of interest to adults, what exactly they want and expect from joint activities with the school.
One of the most common forms of working with students is classroom hours. Prevention of offenses is carried out in this lesson, moreover, if properly organized, it is quite effective. With children, it is necessary to conduct various conversations, contests, game programs, the purpose of which is to improve the legal culture of students. The subjects can be different, for example, for younger students - “Know your rights”, “What is bad”, etc., for adolescents - “Responsibility for their mistakes”, “Theft - misconduct or offense?” and others.
Prevention of crime is closely linked to work to prevent drug abuse. Round tables, discussions, quizzes, school press conferences on the Antinarko program are also effective in preventing crime among teenagers. It is also necessary to take care of the extracurricular employment of children, which is facilitated by the introduction of new FSES. In no case should you leave the teenager alone with him in a difficult situation for him. Very often, it is teachers who can help, contribute to solving a problem, even if they have to use other services (social protection, etc.). And, perhaps, this is what will help the child not to stray from the right path.
Prevention of offenses should be carried out systematically by all employees of the educational process, because this is the only way to obtain a qualitative result of this activity.
