Russian goalkeeper Alexander Filtsov, having gone through a football school at the Yuri Konoplev Academy, has established himself as a real fighter who will fight for a place in the starting line-up with all his might. The first stages in the career of a young Russian were games in the Dmitrovgrad club Krylia Sovetov - SOK and Tolyatti, where the goalkeeper was spotted in the Premier League.
Start at Lokomotiv
In April 2010, Moscow Lokomotiv drew attention to the Togliatti goalkeeper, and Alexander Filtsov, a football player who dreams of playing in the Russian elite, signed an agreement with the railwaymen until 2015. The goalkeeper played for the club’s youth team for the first season in the capital’s club, and in 2011 began to fall into the application of the main team.
The Russian debut in the Premier League took place in the summer of the same year, when at the 60th minute of the meeting against Spartak, Alexander Filtsov entered the field after removing the main goalkeeper Guillerme. The goalkeeper spent his half an hour of the game very confidently, not having missed even once, but the victory still remained with the red-and-white.
Filtsov spent his first whole match in September, appearing at the gate in the game against “Zenith”. In the fight against the champion of Russia, the goalkeeper conceded two goals, but Muscovites won - 4: 2. The next season, Alexander rarely appeared on the field, which is why at the beginning of 2013 he went on loan to Krasnodar, having only 7 matches for Lokomotiv.
Transition to Krasnodar
As part of the Krasnodar club, Alexander Filtsov was able to immediately approach the base, having played in all 11 meetings the remainder of the season, in which he conceded 12 goals, three times playing “zero”. The game was pleasant to the Russian coaching staff, “Krasnodar”, and after the lease “bulls” bought the player for 2 million euros.
The first season as a full-fledged player in the Krasnodar team, Alexander spent with dignity - taking part in 20 meetings, of which 6 goalkeeper finished “dry”, due to which I liked several clubs in the Premier League. Of the possible proposals, Filtsov chose Rubin, signing a contract for 4 years.
Rent at Arsenal
Once in the Kazan team, the first time Alexander Filtsov trained with the second club, for which he played twice in the championship. However, the goalkeeper didn’t manage to play as the basis of the “ruby” ones in two seasons, and in the winter of 2016, the Russian decided to try his luck in a lease by going to Tula Arsenal. As part of the tuleks, the experienced goalkeeper immediately became the basis, having played the second part of the season at a decent level - only 5 goals conceded in 12 meetings with 7 “dry” ones.

Assessing the goalkeeper’s skills, in the summer Arsenal again offered Alexander to play on a loan, and Filtsov returned to the “gunsmiths”. However, the goalkeeper did not succeed in returning to the Tula team - for the first part of the season he took part in only 3 matches, conceiving 6 goals in two of them, thereby losing the base to young Mikhail Levashov. The agreement with Arsenal is designed for another six months, and in the second part of the season Filtsov will try to regain his place at the gate, showing a high level of skill.
