The issue of labor protection at work is very important. For the successful operation of the enterprise, it is necessary to develop measures for labor protection. The experience of world-class companies shows that the health of workers needs to be given due attention. According to the law, in organizations with a staff of more than one hundred people, the creation of a labor protection service is required. Such a service is engaged in forecasting, coordination, planning and monitoring the safety of workers. Labor protection measures are determined on the basis of common tasks:
- The complex of developed means and measures of work safety must correspond to the possible degree of risk, and also comply with regulatory legal acts and the legislation of the Russian Federation.

There are three types: promising, annual, operational.
Long-term planning involves the development of comprehensive measures to improve the conditions for fulfilling production tasks. The state of the workplace, the conditions for fulfilling production tasks are preliminarily analyzed.
Annual planning . The basic foundation is integrated forward planning.
Operational planning is carried out as certain tasks arise.
Occupational safety measures
Responsibility for ensuring the necessary safe conditions at the workplace lies entirely with the heads of enterprises. Safety measures developed include the following:
- Definition of the list of professions and jobs requiring medical (preliminary and periodic) examination of personnel.
- Definition of the list of jobs with difficult working conditions that are prohibited to persons under the age of 21 and women of childbearing period.
- Familiarization of the employee at the workplace with working conditions, a possible risk to his health.
- Familiarization of the employee with the job description, labor protection requirements, possible benefits and compensations.
- Definition of the list of professions, works that do not require instruction (primary).
- Definition of activities related to increased labor safety requirements.
- Familiarization of specialized employees with the conditions of working conditions at the facility, personal protective equipment, job responsibilities.
- Development of instructions (production, labor protection), familiarization with personnel.
- Development of a list of professions, works using personal protective equipment, detergents. Implementation control.
- If necessary, provide assistance to the victim (deliver to a medical facility, report the accident to the established addresses).
- Development of measures for the prevention of accidents. Improving working conditions.
- Certification of places of work.
- Provision of working premises with sanitary facilities in accordance with the specifics of production.
