Professional athlete career

In 2000, he was selected as a draft by the Minnesota Wild Club. In his first season, Maxim spent 30 games and scored 11 points. But without finishing it, he decided to return back to Omsk.
Return to Russia
This hockey player is the first to independently decide to leave the NHL team in the midst of the season. After his return to the “Vanguard” Sushinsky Maxim Yurievich, together with the team for the first time won the Russian championship. He did not succeed in achieving this title.
After Maxim moved to Moscow Dynamo. He played there one season at a high level, more than once scoring crucial goals. Retirement
In 2011, Maxim Sushinsky (hockey player) was put up for transfer by the SKA hockey club. Age made itself felt. Maxim could no longer withstand the high rhythm of the game. It was clear that there was very little left until the end of a career. This illustrious hockey player decided to sign “Salavat Yulaev” for one year. But already in November, he was on the list of failures. Any club within 48 hours could offer this player a contract without paying compensation. But this did not happen, and before the termination of the contract Maxim spent a couple of games for the double “Salavat Yulaev”.
After the termination of the contract, Sushinsky went to Magnitogorsk before the end of the season. This year was the last for him in the Russian championship. The following year, Sushinsky began performing at the Compressor club, which played in the amateur league in St. Petersburg. Fans were happy to play with such an illustrious athlete who has many awards. But Sushinsky decided to test himself again and left to play for the Swiss Friborg-Gotteron team. It was in this club that a year later the athlete officially ended his sports career.
