Crime drama "Flint". Actors of the silent premiere

The crime drama "Flint" (actors: E. Antropov, D. Kulichkov, A. Bezborodov, T. Nastashevskaya) directed by Alexei Mizgirev could be called a successful film debut, if not for one circumstance. At the same time in 2007, two films were released for domestic distribution: the Mizgirev project and the “Cargo 200” by Balabanov. Comparisons of these paintings have always been not in favor of the movie Flint. The actors who played the main roles in the work of Mizgirev did not win global popularity.

Film critics claimed that Balabanov turned out to have a parable, and Mizgirev made a very impartial, but very naturalistic sketch of modernity. Although after viewing it becomes clear: “Flint” is not a simple physiological essay, but also a parable about a new generation that mixed up all life and universal values.

Plot

The plot is based on the story of the young demobilization guy Anton Remizov, who went straight to Moscow for the girl Zina who had left her provincial Almetyevsk. There, under the circumstances, he becomes a real “cool cop”, which makes everyone, in his opinion, guilty and guilty to play a game with a strange name - “help me forgive myself”. Moreover, this story is told by the author in a fundamentally simplified and even schematic way, with bloodier and tougher moments than in “Cargo 200”. This is a brief description of the storyline of the movie Flint. The actors who took part in the filming fully supported the author’s vision, realized the director’s idea on the screen.

Anton Remizov

Actor Evgeny Antropov is a nature not prone to PR and quite closed. He pays much more attention to theatrical career than cinematic. According to the artist, he refers to the movie as a hobby. The movie "Flint" (2007) became Antropov's film debut. Since the premiere of the picture was rather quiet and even imperceptible, the actor has relatively few fans, but they respect his work with respect. Film critics argue that under the texture of Eugene, you can write separate scripts. Such bold conclusions helped them to draw the roles that Yevgeny Antropov embodied on the screen. A more prominent and significant character was to play Kulichkova in the movie “On Verkhnyaya Maslovka” together with such stage masters as Ekaterina Guseva, Alena Babenko, Alisa Freindlikh and Evgeny Mironov. Since then, the actor has been actively acting in films of various genres and formats. Among the best projects are such as “Brest Fortress”, “Live”, “Salvage”, “Fool”, “Sinner” and, of course, “Flint”. Actors who at least once worked with Kulichkov, note his exemplary professionalism. In the work of Mizgirev, he created the image of Sergeant Chakhlov, a typical genre villain. Now Dmitry Kulichkov continues to participate in theatrical productions, successfully combining cinema and theater.

The role of the beloved protagonist Zina was played by the theater and film actress Anastasia Bezborodova, now she is married to the main actor Yevgeny Antropov. Her character remains for the beholder a character-function, a real mystery. She is not even a full-fledged hero, but rather a character. Her parents were played: mother - Tatyana Nastashevskaya, Nikolai's father - Sergey Shekhovtsov. From an artistic point of view, there are few complaints about their demonstrated acting skills.

Debutant director Alexei Mizgirev for the film "Flint" was not without reason received two film awards at the Kinotavr festival. His creation was compared with “Brother”, and “Cargo 200”, and even with the long-standing domestic film “Plumbum, or The Dangerous Game”. But despite all the parallels and associations, Flint is the standard of powerful social film criticism. His problems serve as an excellent counterbalance to all visual and artistic flaws. Such film projects need to be watched and shot; modern society sometimes needs such a hard rejection of certain life illusions.
