In the film “Dunno from Our Yard”, the actors created an excellent musical television film for children. It consists of two series and was created at the Odessa film studio in 1983. The film was started by the Soviet director Irma Raush, the project is listed under the pseudonym Irina Yakovleva. However, something did not work out for Irma, and the picture was transferred to another director. Young, but already able to prove himself, Igor Apasyan made changes to the script and finished shooting. It turned out a fascinating film about the guys living in the same yard. Playing different games, friends transform into heroes of the beloved writer Nikolai Nosov - Dunno and his bosom friends.

The film takes place in the familiar courtyard of an apartment building. An outstanding child lived here - an interesting red-haired boy. He was interested in everything, he constantly asked questions and was an extraordinary inventor. Thanks to his curiosity, the nickname Dunno was assigned to him. Ordinary games are already a little tired of the boys and girls from the yard, and they decided to present themselves as fairy-tale heroes of the children's writer Nikolai Nosov.
A “fabulous” confrontation between “physicists” and “lyricists” began. To the “lyrical” heroes is the main character Dunno, and to the “physical” ones - Znayka with his fans. And if Znayka tries to explain everything scientifically, then Dunno addresses the magical side of the problem. Twin wizards come to the rescue, who take the children to a fabulous and magical world.
The actors of the movie “Dunno from Our Yard” are ordinary children who did not have any experience working on camera, including: Valery Songin, Sterligova Anastasia, Anya Ganelina, Nikolai Losev, Maria Slidker (Saffo). At the time of filming, all the children were six to eight years old. The oldest children were wizards, who were perfectly performed by the famous brothers Vladimir and Yuri Torsuyev.
Dunno
This role was brilliantly played by Valery Songin. In 1976, on October 22, he saw the world. The boy has not yet gone to school, but already had his first acting experience. At the age of six, he starred in the movie “Dunno from Our Yard”. The child coped with the role, and therefore the next year he was invited to the Moldova-Film Studio. Here Valera took part in one of the parts of the satirical newsreel. The episode in which young Songin starred was released in 1984 and was called "The Bitterness of the Forbidden Fruit."
While at school, Valera attended a children's theater studio, which worked at the Russian Theater in Vilnius (Lithuania). Growing up, Valery Songin ended his short career as an artist. Today he lives in his native Vilnius, is married and has a beautiful daughter.
Blue Eye and Button
In the images of the girls Sineglazka and Buttons in the work “Dunno from Our Yard”, the actors were involved for five and six years. The role of Sineglazka in the project was played by Anastasia Sterligova. The young actress celebrates her birthday on July 24, was born in 1977. At the age of six, she starred in her first and only film about Dunno. At 22, Anastasia received a diploma from the University of Technology and never returned to an artistic career.
Actress Slidovker (Saffo) Maria Feliksovna starred in the role of the Button. She was approved for this role when she was not yet five years old. Masha was born in 1978. On March 8, she receives two gifts, because she was born on International Women's Day. Perhaps this is almost the only child who, after the film “Dunno from Our Yard”, continued his acting career. Maria's father is a famous director of ballet films. Continuing the family tradition, the girl received an acting education in America. To date, the archive of Maria Saffo has more than ten film projects.
Wizard brothers
Gemini was played by actors Vladimir and Yuri Torsuev, popular in the Soviet Union. They were born on April 22, 1966. The twins were given names in honor of the first cosmonaut - Yuri Gagarin, and the great leader of the Soviet people - Vladimir Lenin. The guys became popular after filming in the exciting adventure film "The Adventures of Electronics." During the screening, Vladimir and Yuri were almost four hundred twins. However, the guys managed, and as a result, Vladimir appeared before the audience in the role of Electronics, and Yuri became Syroezhkin. After graduation, the Torsuev brothers starred as wizards in the feature film “Dunno from Our Yard”.
However, they did not associate their fate with an acting career. The guys entered the printing institute, but did not even finish the first year. Further on their way, a driving school, military service, and again an attempt to get a higher education did not end there. Vladimir Torsuev studied for a while at Moscow State University at the Faculty of Philosophy. Yuri Torsuyev studied at the Institute of Asia and Africa.
Then, Yuri Torsuyev starts working at the Three Te film studio, which is led by the famous director Nikita Mikhalkov. The brothers are invited to recall their acting experience and star in the film directed by Nikolai Fomin "Russian Brothers". The work was released in 1992 and appeared before the audience in the form of a gray and uninteresting film. Another film, “The Venetian Mirror,” which was released two years later, was also an unsuccessful attempt to return the brothers to the world of cinema.
Actors who took part in the filming of the film “Dunno from Our Yard” now in most cases do not act in films. Almost all of this feature film was the only one in his acting career. For many viewers, this film is a bright memory of a carefree childhood when you believe in wizards and miracles.
