Blue clay for the face - a natural 'culprit' of beauty and skin health

The concept of "beauty from nature" can be interpreted in different ways today. Someone understands this as an inherently beautiful appearance, and someone as the result of working on it with the help of natural resources. It seems that both options are correct, besides, one of them can logically flow from the other or be combined with it, because a face that is beautiful by nature needs a high-quality, natural care that maintains and maintains the freshness and youth of the skin for a long time.

One of the most beloved face care products is blue clay. Do not think that it has such a color due to some chemical additives. It really is naturally blue, and they extract such clay in the Rhodope Mountains that they are in Bulgaria. Its acid-base level (pH) is 7.3, so blue clay is used for the face, body and hair as masks and wraps. Thanks to this substance, the skin tones and perfectly softens, as well as effectively clears acne and acne. In addition, clay masks can whiten and soothe the skin, smooth wrinkles and act as an antimicrobial agent. Blue clay is used in body wraps if they want to prevent the appearance of cellulite or get rid of it.

In cosmetic supermarkets you can buy a wide variety of products that include this powder mass, but it is sold separately, in its pure form, and there are many ways to use it effectively. For example, such an unpretentious mask of blue clay for the face may come up against freckles: mix a tablespoon of the powder with cucumber juice to get a thick slurry, which you need to apply for 15-20 minutes on the face, and then rinse with cotton pads moistened with warm water.

For problem skin, prone to various rashes, the following recipe may be suitable: add 3 ml of ethyl alcohol and 12 drops of lemon juice to 3 tablespoons of clay (use a pipette). This blue clay face mask is applied for 15 minutes in total, and then washed off with warm water. If you need to remove inflammation from the skin or even it out, try the following method: add half of a tablespoon of clay to a little real apple cider vinegar and a little cold boiled water. All this must be mixed until a homogeneous gruel is formed. It is to apply it on the face, stand for 10 minutes and rinse with cold water.

For those who have dry skin, blue clay for the face is also suitable as a mask, just add the following components to it: liquid honey - 1 teaspoon, lemon juice - 30-40 drops, clay - 1 tablespoon. You can also drip a little water and mix everything until a white slurry forms. It is applied with a special spatula to the face and neck and can withstand 25-30 minutes, and all this is washed off in cool water. Next, the skin is rubbed with a slice of lemon, and then it would be nice to make a few soothing cold compresses to complete the procedure. Such a mask is done 1-2 times a week, and those who have already tested it on themselves, claim that the skin after it can be compared only with the skin of a baby.

If you want blue face clay to work more efficiently, read a few helpful tips before using it:

1) the effectiveness of any clay mask can be enhanced by adding a decoction of herbs that are suitable for your skin instead of water;

2) while holding such a mask on your face, try not to talk or laugh, so as not to disrupt the "adhesion" of useful trace elements to skin cells;

3) before preparing the mask, it would be nice to sift the clay, and grind the remaining small stones and sift it, too;

4) when you wash off the mask from the face, do not use any means for washing, only water and nothing but water;

5) it happens that the type of skin affects the uniformity of drying of the mask, so blue clay for the face, which has already been applied in the form of a mask, requires periodic wetting with boiled or thermal water in those places where it has already dried.
