Sloan Stevens was born in a sports family. My father played American football professionally, and was even recognized as the best rookie of the season. Mom played for the university swimming team. In such an environment, the girl could not start playing sports.

Stevens is not the only child in the family; she grew up with her brother Sean Farrell. Today the family has its own business - a funeral agency. If not for tennis, the girl could well have taken part in it.
