treatment with folk remedies for thrush helps to achieve success faster

The term "thrush" refers to a fungal disease that affects mainly the mucous membranes of the human genitals. The scientific name of the disease is candidomycosis, and the fungus got its popular name due to the fact that with an active process on the mucous membranes, primarily the genitals, curdled patches are formed, similar to clotted milk. Candidomycosis is very common, approximately 70% of the population suffers from it in one form or another. The most common of them - latent (hidden) and chronic, periodically giving exacerbations. These forms are not permanent and often pass one into another. The route of transmission of the disease in adults is usually through sexual contact, but the fungus Kandida albikans (Candida albicans), the causative agent of the disease, has one very important feature - it is an “obligate” parasite. This means that it is also present in a healthy body (usually as part of the intestinal microflora), but is not active, as the body’s immunity prevents it. And only under the influence of adverse factors that reduce the level of immunity, the disease develops. That is, a person for himself can be a source of infection. Not knowing this fact, by the way, led to the conflict more than one married couple, when one of the partners fell ill with a thrush, and the other half began to suspect him of treason, often without any reason.

Thrush usually manifests itself with discharge with an unpleasant odor, the formation of a white coating on the mucous membranes and severe itching. All these symptoms are very uncomfortable, but, fortunately, are easily treatable. In medicine, there are many special antifungal agents, but not all of them are harmless and have extensive contraindications. Therefore, at the first signs of the disease, you can try treatment with folk remedies for thrush. Folk remedies for thrush are especially justified for pregnant women, since it is precisely because of them that a pathological process begins in the body due to a temporary decrease in protective forces, and it is contraindicated in most cases to be treated with the majority of remedies against fungus.

Alternative treatment of thrush recommends using both publicly available home remedies and herbal decoctions. For example, treatment with folk remedies for thrush can be carried out using ordinary kefir. Living cultures contained in it actively inhibit the growth of the fungus, normalizing the microflora of the vagina. Just take a piece of clean gauze, fold in the form of an “accordion”, sewn a thread for ease of use, moistened in low-fat kefir and inserted into the vagina overnight. In the morning, the used swab is removed, and then the procedure ends with douching with infusion of chamomile. For its preparation, 30-40 g of chamomile flowers are taken and 250 ml of boiling water is poured. Allow to cool to body temperature and the solution is ready for use. In addition, treatment with folk remedies for thrush can be carried out using other effective herbal preparations: take yarrow herbs, sage leaf, rosemary leaf in equal parts of 20 grams of dry weight, add 40 grams of oak bark. The mixture is poured with 3 liters of filtered water and boiled in an enamel bowl for 25-30 minutes on low heat. Then cool and filter. The resulting broth is used for douching 2-3 times a day until the symptoms disappear. The following recipe allows you to treat folk remedies for thrush not only locally, but also sanitize the foci in the intestine, taking the drug inside. So, the following ingredients are taken: ordinary yarrow herbs, calendula officinalis flowers, chamomile flowers, medicinal sage flowers, common juniper berries, twig-shaped eucalyptus, black poplar and birch buds - all in equal proportions. Measure out two tablespoons of dry collection and pour 1 liter of boiling water. Insisting is best in a thermos. It is taken orally in 1/3 cup 20-30 minutes before meals 3 times a day for about a month. Additionally, it can be used for local baths before bedtime.

In particularly persistent cases of candidiasis, treatment with folk remedies of thrush should be combined with local antifungal drugs with low absorption, which should only be selected by a qualified doctor.
