The vast majority of viewers who have watched this tape at least once are united in expressing their emotions. They are sure that this is one of the most fun Russian TV shows of the last decade, which is worth a look. The two main characters are partners. One of them is the lovelace-handsome man who constantly finds adventure and finds himself involved in many stories. The second is the most ordinary family man, loving, loyal and kind. He likes to eat everything that his wife cooks. In a variety of everyday situations, he does not particularly strain. He believes that he is doing everything right. And such two diametrically opposite, but perfectly complementing each other men should work side by side. Now the life of each of them is changing, this is especially noticeable at those moments when they need to solve a problem or save members of their family and strangers.

How it all started

He kills the drug lord who ordered him and is responsible for the death of his family. Due to abuse of power, Lavrov was tried and demoted to captains. Now he must work in the St. Petersburg unit of the traffic police, leaving the special department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The partner of honest, fair, constantly fighting for the truth Sergei becomes a traffic cop Nikolai Zimin, a little absent-minded man who does not hesitate to take bribes and calmly awaits retirement. Nikolai has his own tactic of non-interference.

In 2010, filmed the continuation of the beloved series - "GAI 2". Actors who were busy in the first filming were invited to the second. Unfortunately, someone did not live up to this. And yet, the audience saw the new series.
In the continuation of this story, the fate of the main characters - Lavrov and Zimin - is changing. Sergey is planning a wedding with his fighting girlfriend Skvortsova, whom he met in previous episodes. He really loves her and hopes to create a strong family. After all, despite his reputation as a womanizer, after his dead wife, this is the only woman who touched his wounded heart. In addition, he was offered to return to work in the special department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, because Colonel Korchagin needed his help.
Nikolai begins work with a new partner - a hilarious, overly active and endlessly talkative intern Bibigul, or Bibi. He believes that Sergei betrayed their friendship.

The adventures of friends continue. Yes, yes, friends. It just so happened that at first Lavrov and Zimin accepted each other with hostility: they had too different attitudes to working moments and not only. But then they really became friends.
Their new general investigation originates in a recent story that happened to Zimin concerning drug dealers. This is the case when Nikolai found a bag of drugs with his son and flushed everything down the toilet without thinking that it was a very large amount. In the continuation, it turned out that through their actions, the partners crossed the road to a drug dealer who really wants to take revenge on them for suffering losses through the fault of friends.
Relatives taken hostage
The talented actors of the series “GAI 2” - Sergey Astakhov, who played Lavrov, and Vladimir Gusev, who embodied Zimin, showed on the screen the relationship of real friends who will always come to the rescue of each other.
Thanks to their actions, the criminal authority of Sher Khan is behind bars. But the bandits do not give up. They abduct Zimin’s daughter and wife and demand that Sher Khan be free in any way. Lavrov comes to the aid of a friend. He learns that another batch of drugs will arrive soon. Sergey manages to intercept this load, which causes a war between Sher Khan and the Count. As a result, the first dies, and the hostages are in the hands of Earl.
