The frequency of fire safety briefings, as well as the type of information provided, is established by the enterprise management. For example, in most factories and industrial facilities, such reporting to employees of the organization is carried out at least once a year, or even once every six months. The time allotted for instructing employees of a company or enterprise should not take less than an hour.
Rules for
Instruction, as a rule, is carried out according to a specific program, which is developed by the employees of the labor department. When compiling this program, not only the rules and standards of the briefing are taken into account, but also the subtleties of the production process at a particular enterprise. Responsibilities of persons in case of fire
In the event of a fire, those responsible must act according to the instructions. First of all, they need to call the appropriate fire department and report a fire. Then it is necessary to organize the evacuation of employees of the enterprise (in accordance with established plans), save all the valuable documentation and wait for the arrival of the fire brigade. By the way, it is recommended to hold fire safety days at any enterprise, during which people can be instructed according to the rules of evacuation. You can do this at least twice a year.
In what form is the work collective informed?
The fire safety briefing program should not only contain information about the frequency, timing and time of its conduct, but also describe the intended form used to transmit data to company employees. So, according to the time and nature of the training, instructions on fire safety rules can be divided into:
- introductory and unscheduled;
- primary (carried out directly at the workplaces of employees) and repeated;
- target and field (performed outside the workplace, for example, in a rented conference room).
The frequency or frequency of fire safety briefings directly depends on the plan approved by the organization’s directorate.
Who provides training on the job?
Depending on the type of briefing, it is carried out by a variety of responsible persons. It is carried out in a structural unit with a frequency of not more than once every six months. Moreover, for employees working with specialized equipment with a high level of danger, the repetition of thematic material should be carried out at least once a quarter.
Unplanned Safety Reporting
An unscheduled briefing is carried out if certain changes have been made to the existing fire safety documentation at the enterprise. For example, regulatory or legal acts were changed, new measures and requirements for fire safety in organizations were introduced. Also, such information is provided in the following cases:
- upon the acquisition by the enterprise of new equipment that workers have not previously encountered;
- when replacing old equipment (modernization, replacement of important parts);
- at the request of the GPS;
- in the event of a forced production interruption in labor at the enterprise for a year or more (for example, when equipment is idle).

Targeted team awareness
Targeted briefing is carried out by the responsible person for those employees who arrived at the factory to provide one-time services and perform work. Such a communication of information requires the compulsory execution of an admission order and the conduct of a kind of excursion at the factory.
Who should be instructed?
All employees of the organization, regardless of their position, are invited to undergo voluntary instruction. All information about the briefing is recorded in a special journal. If we talk about the requirements of the GPS to such documents, then the briefing logs should:
- be laced and stitched;
- keep the seal of the enterprise and register in the labor department;
- to be signed (taking into account the title page);
- be numbered;
- contain current records of current and upcoming types of briefings.

How to arrange everything correctly? The fire safety briefing log usually contains the following items and columns:
- serial number;
- date of instruction;
- Full name and date of birth of the instructed person;
- position and profession of an employee of the enterprise (applies exclusively to instructed people);
- type of briefing;
- the reason for carrying out (with unscheduled types of information);
- initials and surname, position of the instructed person;
- signatures of the instructor and the person who listened to the briefing.
The journal may also mention the number of days worked for students and trainees who have been instructed and work in the enterprise.
