But thanks to the game, we remember much faster, easier and with pleasure. Sometimes a rule is easier to remember in the form of a rhyme, or, say, with a certain amount of humor. What is hardening?
Summer is not only the time of fruit, the season of the seas and good mood. Summer is an opportunity to acquire another useful habit - to begin hardening. Indeed, in the summer people get less sick, and the conditions for hardening procedures are much greater. In fact, hardening is the training of the body, which allows him to learn how to quickly and timely respond to changes in conditions that are comfortable for him. From the point of view of hardening, we will divide people into three main groups. The first group is absolutely healthy people who get sick no more than once a year, visit the pool, go to the sauna. The second group is people without hardening experience, those who are sick no more than two or three times a year, and, finally, the third group of people with fragile health.
Despite the significant differences between the groups, we note that for all, without exception, who decided to do hardening, the rule of three โPsโ should be observed: act constantly, gradually and consistently. Compliance with such simple at first glance rules will give you the opportunity to enjoy hardening and not harm your health.

You should be aware that constant exposure produces a conditioned reflex that needs to be fixed, which is why doctors recommend starting the procedure in the summer. Gradual hardening is an important stage in which people often make fatal mistakes, after which they restore their health for a long time. By sequence is meant the development of a program. There should be no sudden changes in exposure methods.
Five types of treatments
In hardening, the rule of three "P" is used. What this means, we have considered above, now we should proceed to practical exercises.
- Firstly, this is the easiest way - morning air baths, which should be taken outdoors in light clothing for 15 minutes.
- Secondly, this is wiping with a damp towel in the morning.
- Thirdly, this is a dousing, which is better to start in the summer. Water should be 34โ36 degrees, and every five days, the water temperature should be reduced by one or two degrees.
- Fourth, it is a contrast shower. A person should stand under hot water for several minutes, and then under cool. The number of such alternations should not exceed 5-7 times.
- And finally, the fifth kind of tempering procedures is a cool shower. In this case, it should be remembered that the temperature of the contrast shower should be slightly lower than room temperature, while standing under such a shower, do not forget to stretch your body with your palms.
