In 2001, the screens finally appeared, the continuation of the beloved youth of the series Degrassi: The Next Generation. The basic idea has not changed - it is the same as its predecessors. At the center of the new seasons is the daily life of Canadian youth. Periodically, next to the young actors in "The Next Generation", matured heroes from the previous parts appear. Their roles are performed by the same actors, which is the succession of the epic. Currently, the series continues to be filmed, a total of 14 seasons have already been released. Neil Hope as Derek Wheeler
This actor is from Toronto, from a dysfunctional family. When Neil Hope was 10 years old, he participated in the selection for the filming of the episodic role of the series "Children from Degrassi Street." However, he and his work really liked the crew, and his character decided to make permanent in the series. Hope continued to act in other parts of the series. When the filming was over, Neil completely moved away from acting, and was not filmed anywhere. With the continuation of Degrassi: The Next Generation, actors from previous films were also invited.
