General rules for writing an application

application writing rules
Every person in his life is faced with writing statements. This may be a statement of employment, dismissal, transfer to another position or some other. Not to mention the numerous papers that have to be written in hospitals, the tax service, banks and other institutions. And the person immediately raises the question of whether there are any general rules for writing an application.

Application form

It is nice that almost all institutions, especially large offices and government organizations, have their own application forms for all occasions. Samples for filling, as a rule, are exhibited for public viewing in a prominent place. The same picture is observed when admitted to any organization with a working staff of more than 3-4 people: here, too, there are sample applications for each case. So if you are asked to write a statement on the model or fill in the columns in an already completed form, it is better to agree to this proposal and not come up with something on your own. Each organization has its own rules for writing an application. And if you do not adhere to them, then your documents will not be accepted. Sometimes such a refusal is illegal, but it is much easier to comply with local requirements for paperwork than to prove in court in three months that the organization’s employees were wrong.

Rules for filling out an application according to USORD
application rules

There is a single unified system of organizational and administrative documentation, or, briefly, URDS. It is not binding on all organizations, but clerks often apply the paperwork requirements set forth in the standard.

According to USORD, the preparation of the application begins with the writing of a heading, which indicates the personal data of the applicant and the head of the organization. The word "Statement" is written in the upper left corner, opposite the header, the outgoing document number is also indicated there. Next is the text, at the end the signature and date are affixed.

General requirements

However, sometimes situations arise when it is necessary to write an application without a sample and without a ready-made form. Are there any rules for writing an application in this case? It turns out there are, but they are not legislatively enshrined in any of the codes of the Russian Federation. Rather, these are the rules of business ethics, the implementation of which helps the parties understand each other. So what should be in your statement:

drawing up a statement

1. Outgoing number and date. An optional condition, but this information helps to track the movement of the document.

2. A hat with information: to whom the paper is addressed and from whom.

3. The narrative.

4. Motivation part. It is written if necessary. Sources that confirm the validity of your requirements are listed here.

5. The operative part. It describes what you want to get as a result.

6. List of applications.

7. Signature and date.

The statement should not contain obscene expressions, as this gives the legal right not to consider this document.

And finally: the general rules for writing an application do not provide for the execution of a document in strictly written or printed form. The written application should only have a signature, and everything else should be at the discretion of the applicant.
