When Alexander Andryushchenko began his creative career as a director, his comedy “The Christmas Tree”, which was so loved by compatriots that it became an annual filming tradition, was his debut. Therefore, the comedy genre is not an innovation for the director; the new project “Partner” (a 2017 film with actors S. Garmash, A. Nazimov and L. Arzamasova) confirms this. Fragments of adventure cinema, combined with comedy elements and a fair amount of the absurdity of what is happening, made the picture easy and relaxed, and the brilliant cast led by Garmash is a guarantee of professional acting. Reviews for the movie "Partner" are positive, its rating is 5.5.
Creators
Alexander Andryushchenko, also known as the producer of “Attraction” and “Ghost”, is one of the founders of the company “Hydrogen”. Andrei Zolotarev worked on the script of the “Partner”, before which the above-mentioned “Phantom” and the not very successful “Dances to Death” worked out. In “Partner”, everything is fine, both with a scenario basis and with directing - this is a genre viewer project full of unpredictable somersaults, jokes, chases and verified dialogues.
Despite the fact that the brainchild of Andryushchenko touches on rather gloomy topics, they are presented with mischievous humor, like ribbons of the Soviet era, such as “Gentlemen of Fortune”. The classics of the genre inevitably pop up in the memory during the viewing, especially when the major teaches the criminal jargon of his “father-ward”. The actors of the movie "Partner" (2017) in an interview with the media have also repeatedly drawn parallels with the work of Alexander Sery.
Plot plot
The narration introduces the viewer to the main character: an experienced law enforcement officer Major Khromov (S. Garmash) from Vladivostok, working undercover. To earn the trust of the mafia, he is in prison. During the execution of parole, the hero manages to insult a woman psychologist (L. Arzamasov), who is in the last term of pregnancy.
By the will of fate, after the release of Khromov, he falls into the fortune-teller, who promises him a quick retribution for offensive words. During the operation to arrest the mafia leader, the major, an ignorant eco-police officer Oleg (A. Nazimov) tries to arrest, but Khromov obscures an inexperienced colleague from bullets. The hero, trying to save his life, is operated on in a clinic in which at that moment Katya, offended by him, gives birth, and his soul moves into the body of the newborn. A year passes, the baby begins to talk and persuades his father, that same Oleg, to begin the hunt for mafiosi. This is the plot of the movie "Partner".
Leading actors
Performers who played the roles of key characters cope with their task in different ways.
Garmash is brilliant in the image of the sarcastic Khromov. There is no doubt that absolutely any project makes Sergey Garmash's voice better: films, voice acting of foreign film and multi-projects, advertising. The timbre of Sergei Leonidovich, coupled with outstanding acting talent and unsurpassed charisma, helps where it seems that nothing can be saved. In addition, the actor is such an inapplicable candidate for a role in the story of the relocation of the soul that it creates the opposite effect: the guardian of the law to the core, saying that he is cutting with a knife, suddenly finds himself in a carriage with young inexperienced parents, while the head of the mafia remains on freedom.
Actors Nazimov and Arzamasova interacted with the real master of domestic cinema in the film "Partner" (2017). Famous for the role of Galina Sergeyevna from “Daddy’s daughters” Lisa Arzamasova seems to shine in the image of a young charming mom. But critics reproached Andrei Nazimov for replaying, as if the actor sought to draw on himself the entire humorous component of the project.
Ensemble of performers
Ksenia Lavrova-Glinka, who played the role of boss Khromova, in love with her brutal subordinate, could not demonstrate all the facets of her charisma. A pleasant surprise for the audience was the appearance of Jan Tsapnik, decorating films with his presence, like Sergei Garmash. The performer once again demonstrated that he is one of the best domestic artists specializing in characteristic roles. Tsapnik appeared in only one episode, but showed younger comedians a real comedy master class.
A little upset by the caricatured images of the antagonists of the tape. They clearly trace a reference to the superhero movie Marvel.
Well, in general, the roles played by the actors of the movie “Partner” (2017) are criticized as a worthy move and an undoubted plus for the entire domestic film industry, which, at times, lacks a sense of proportion and realism.
